I have been going to this store for a long time. The man behind the counter was always ok and pleasant. But I never liked to be served by the woman. She seems to be annoyed all the time, doesn’t give enough of the meat and when she wraps the sandwiches, she does that angrily, carelessly. So half of it it’s all over the paper and out. Sometimes the sauce on the top was of a questionable quality. I always like to use my Subway card to get the discount tokens and most of the time the tokens would never appear on my account. Last time I went there and ordered one foot long and 6” sandwich just with the meat, cheese and sauce and no other additives, it came to nearly $22.00!!!!!! I was surprised with the price and I refused to pay that. As I was leaving, the woman was yelling after me what was she supposed to do with it because she already made it. I didn’t care. I refuse to be ripped off. I know, that prices are higher everywhere but I still think that nearly $22.00 for a sandwich and half is wrong. Every other store charges less and gives you the discount. And the people behind the counter are pleasant and nice. This store will never see...
Read moreWhen I worked across the street at the old William Tell I would stop in this subway for lunch every week. I started in 1998 and feel like the Subway was brand new. This was long before Jared and 5 dollar footlongs. If i remember correctly the original store was decorated like a NYC Subway Station. I remember they used to cut a wedge out of the top of the bread rather than than slice it like they do now. Somewhere along the way (2003?) it was sold to the current owners. I recently was in the area and stopped in for a sub. I had not been in since William Tell burned down in 2015 Same owners working and after many years they recognized me and knew my name (he always called me teacher) and remembered the sub I always would order. The entire experience left me feeling like I was from a very small town. But Hopewell isn't a small town anymore ... These amazing business owners just make you feel like it is. They are pillars of the community and symbolize Hopewell Jct. Thank you for all...
Read moreDO NOT GO HERE!!!! I need to express my extreme disappointment with this establishment. Today, I went in to purchase a footlong sandwich, and I was appalled to find it priced at $17 with minimal meat or cheese. I will attach an image of the sandwich for your reference, as you may be as shocked as I was. On top of that, when I attempted to use a coupon promoted by Subway itself, my coupon was denied. When I calmly voiced my concerns about the outrageous price, I was met with a snappy attitude from the staff, which was completely unacceptable. My experiences here have only gone downhill, and the prices keep climbing. I will not be returning nor do I recommend wasting your money at this terrible...
