I was there today, May 7, 2019 and I was beyond pleased. I've never been there before and had heard many good things. Being very picky and reluctant to eat at new places I decided to try it. ( Note: I used to get pizza when it was La Torretta, so I was hoping it would be just as good! ) I was hoping for a good experience and like I said, was beyond satisfied! It was fantastic! Everyone I was with enjoyed their dishes as well! I got the "Gardinera Special" , which is under "Hot Hero's" on their everyday menu, only I got it over angel hair pasta, as a meal, instead of on bread! It did not disappoint! It was grilled chicken with broccoli rabe, fresh mozzerella, sun dried tomatoes and garlic in a delicate what I can only guess was a light olive oil and garlic sauce! ( sauteed? ) It was pleasingly delightful and I will be back! The food was only equaled by our very friendly waiter, Kevin. Overall I give this a top score ...and I am very picky! I am confident you will enjoy your visit to this establishment!
( Only one thing ..if you're reading this Giardino's Pizza ...I wasn't in the mood for bread, but had I been, I would have been disappointed at the "sesame seed" only option. Plain Italian bread is the best and the safest option for customers, especially with any food or stomach issues. If you must do sesame, then please give 3 pieces sesame 3 plain, just a suggestion. I've seen many places do that ..and it's a...
Read moreThe owner is a sarcastic man. I wouldn't give this man the buisness if he was the last pizza place around. I used him to order several pizza's for my kids bday party. They got the order completely wrong and gave me ALL the wrong pies. When i called after the party was over (bc i had eleven 5 and 6 olds) the kid on the phone proceeded to say what do u want me to do about it ..... after that i gave a few more tries. Well the other night i ordered a salad pie and a small regular for my family. The order was delivered w 1 small pie and a small salad. The girl who took the order didn't even say hello and rushed me off phone (which is why i was so annoyed bc she was rude on the ) when i called back to let them know they messed the order up they said it would be another 45 min and when i said i ddint want to be charged for the salad the owner got on the phone. He proceeded to answer how r u doing ..... what is the problem. I told him im not too good .... he says " why are you sick , " and i said what. He says "are you sick if not that then you should be fine ". We had words back and forth and i told him i would never go back there and he said thats fine. I have never been spoken to like this by anybody in customer service. Not only was his staff terrible but he is an awful buisness owner !!!!!!...
Read moreGiardino's is quickly becoming the go-to pizza joint in Hopewell Jct. You can often find the owner behind the counter and greeting customers. After 3-4 visits he will know your face and after 5 visits he will know your name. If you call in an order try to always call from the same number as their system remembers you and it expedites phone ordering process. The food is consistent, the ingredients are high quality and it always taste great and does not upset my (or anybody in my family's) stomach. From the pizzeria I enjoy their Italian Combo with cherry peppers or the grandma' pie (Yes they make a real grandmas and its authentic!) I have also had dinner in the Trattoria several times. I really enjoyed the ricotta in the baked ziti sorrentino. The penne Primavera was also a nice light, colorful pasta dish with great flavor. Giardino's used to be a well kept secret but I think the word is out. 3% Cash discount. Check...
