Great family spot with friendly service and good food. Traditional Pizzeria with a twist. They have breakfast sandwiches all day (will have to give them a try). You've got your chicken parmesan, but also a Reubens Sandwich. Nice variations on pizza types and sizes. Dessert menu had plenty to choose from. We tried Jane's local ice cream and the fried dough (not a zeppole or funnel cake, but somewhere in between). Powdered sugar or cinnamon sugar. The fried dough was light, airy and not greasy. It's good and deserves a better name than fried dough. How about fritto e dolce...it means fried and sweet! Not a complaint, because the entrance and outside seating are cool, but inside needs a little TLC.Prices were good. Highly recommend.

Unfortunately what I ordered was the baked eggs. The eggs were comparable to hard boiled, the fresh tomato was salmon color and bitter, they skipped the prosciutto and the dish was very dry... no moisture present. All for a low cost of $10.50. Why call yourself Tomato Cafe if your vendor doesn't provide ripe flavorful tomatoes? I understand it's out of season but don't use ingredients that literally defines you and is in your name unless they are of highest quality. I'll give them another try next week to see if they listen to their customers. BTW the staff was great. No complaints there. This tomato pictured was found today and is a NY product. Why use terrible tomatoes??? 😂

Just passing through, I decided to give this place a try! SO GLAD I did! The atmosphere is very small town friendly and has that welcoming feeling. The salad was very fresh and had a really earthy flavor, like just picked from the garden, and a good size portion. For dinner I went with the Chicken Parm / half portion, excellent crust on the chicken and the sauce was very fresh and robust! The lava cake dessert À la mode was amazing but too much for one person. Sitting at the front counter over looking Main Street was an enjoyable experience for dinner! I highly recommend and will return to try another meal in the future.

I’ve always loved tomato cafe pizza and my only bad thing to say is more about myself that I’m sorry I have taken so long to come back here . I lost someone very close to me and we used to go there a lot more because she worked there but I still always loved the food . It’s a soft spot for me and I’ll never truly feel comfortable. My children are getting older and I know some of these places don’t stay around forever . I could go on the amount of places I wish I could hop in the tardis and visit just for one more slice man one more haha . The o my one I’ll name is Lou’s . Oh boy Lou’s pizza town I could romanticize about them for probably hours and it’s been about 20 years since they did buisness. I have not found a sausage pizza I can even eat and enjoy aside from thiers . Thier crust anyone who has enjoyed thier food (pizza) knows exactly what I was taking about . Lou my man you are missed . Back to tomato tho thier pizza is certainly great I’ve never had a overly greasy slice ingredients are top shelf you cannot ask for more that what your getting and the prices are pretty reasonable. Most of the staff have been there since the beginning and the new ones polish off the experience fine . (No cherry on top but hey how can you really compare to the past sometimes ) regardless of the pain felt sometimes the food is still good the over all experience is still good and they will always hit the bar of expectations you have been known to have or even if it’s your first time go on pop your own cherry you won’t be disappointed.. I used to review a lot of places ( before kids , when I had some $$$ haha ) and I say give them a chance you won’t...

The food is very good and fresh, best calzone I have ever had!! The reason for 2 stars was the service that night my boyfriend and I went. They were very busy that night with packed tables. Our waitress was inattentive and was more interested in socializing with one of the tables outside. I had to get her attention several times as she did not check on us without me asking her to come over and at one point had to bring the plate up to her at the register because the food was cold and not what my boyfriend ordered. His coffee was burnt, which is not her fault at all but it took so long to get her attention to replace it that when the food came cold and not the right order, it was just another added issue. Plus he waited 15 minutes more than I did to get his food, so I was eating alone. It was a terrible experience and the manager on duty did not even come to apologize or say one word to us, just had the waitress tell us that she was going to comp the french fries. So that took about $2.50 off our bill for a very frustrating experience. I get that when you are packed, things are hectic but people are still paying you for their food. I have not been back and will only order take out in the future as their food is delicious but don't want a repeat of that encounter. Hopefully that was...

This place is great. I ordered a small cheese pizza over the phone. Kid made an honest mistake and forgot to put the order in - I had to wait for the pie to be made upon my arrival. No biggie. I felt bad because I seemed a little flustered as I was in a rush, but I made no complaints. Upon receiving the pie, which they banged out in 10 mins, I received a voucher for a free one, no questions asked. Wow, super nice people. Every time I’ve ever been here the food was outstanding - my wife loves the pasta... and this IS the best pizza in the area, by a long shot. I’ve ran a pizzeria myself and made quite a few pies in my day... just wanted my story to be known and show my gratitude! Stuff like that makes your night and keeps you coming back. Outstanding food and outstanding...
