Last week, I came to the Buffalo Rd Wendyâs to order for my family of four. When I checked my receipt, there were only three things and one of them not right. They told me that they couldnât give provide me a refund. I said no problem, I just wanted the correct food. They did that a gave me a Free Combo card to be used next time. Tonight, I go with my family to order after lacrosse- 4 meals once again. When itâs time to check out, I give my CC and the free combo card. She returns me my card and no receipt and doesnât say anything. I check my account, and sure enough I was charged the entire full amount. Mind you, they also kept the free card. Whole I pulled up to wait for out food, a young man came out to give another car their food- I asked if he could get me my receipt. The manager came out and said it was my fault for not using the card correctly and that I should have told them in the speaker that it was my intention to use it. I asked why I also wasnât provided a receipt and why the young lady didnât tell me that and just took the card? He said it was her fault for not explaining that. He just kept saying it wasnât policy to give refunds. I said I didnât want a refund, I wanted one free combo. This was the second error in two weeks and youâre blaming me. If I was told that I had to mention the card at the time of order, I would have done that. He was being very confrontational and kept cutting us off while we were speaking. He just dismissed us and told us to call his boss and provided me his phone number. That is so over the top and unnecessary. I just wanted to use the card you provided me for my family. And by the time we got home, our food was cold. The...
Read moreTerrible. Save yourself the time. Second time we were here recently. Last time they messed up our order (order had multiple mistakes including wrong size drink, wrong type of drink, completely wrong meal, missing fries) and took over 20 minutes to correct. We were given a free combo coupon from the supervisor so we decided to try again this time and use that. Ordered 4 meals, gave the cashier the coupon, paid for the order (never given a receipt) and were told to pull up. We pulled up and asked for a receipt and about the coupon to make sure it was applied. We were charged for everything and no mention about the coupon. The âGMâ came out and told us we didnât use it correctly and should have told them before we ordered. This was never explained to us. They said when we handed them the coupon they didnât know what we wanted to use it for (couldnât have been for a free meal like the coupon states, right!?), but they also never asked about the coupon at all. Asked for a refund for the one meal and were told they couldnât do that. Asked for a refund for the whole thing and told the same thing. Best he could do is give us a free meal next visit (thatâs what we were trying to do this time!). The GM was not helpful, kept trying to blame us, and kept interrupting me and cutting me off while talking. Very frustrating situation overall and made worse after speaking to him. I was given the number of his boss apparently, so will reach out, but doubt that will be helpful. Not to mention, just under $50 for two adults and two kids for fast food is crazy. Itâs a convenient location for us but donât think weâll...
Read moreI have lived around here and frequented this Wendy's for years. Over the past couple of years this one has gone steadily downhill. Now during the pandemic I've seen the longest waits of any fast food chain ever. 4 car waits 30 minutes+. Last month I sat through a 9 car line that took 45 minutes to get through. Food that is barely warm and looks like it sat under the heat lamp for an hour. Chicken nuggets and fries that aren't even warm took them over 5 minutes at the window to give me my food after I sat in line for almost 25 minutes. I could go on and on. This pandemic in my opinion is no excuse to give sub par food with sub par service. This is when you restaurants should be stepping it up to show people you deserve the patronage. You've got take out one order at a time, through one drive through, seems like a better job could be done. I keep going back hoping for a good experience. Wendy's has the best fries when they are decently fresh. All I get now is soggy, cooked a half hour ago fries. I haven't had a good experience here in over a year. Unfortunately I think the people here do not care about your satisfaction. Even if you did complain and wanted them to cook it fresh, you'll sit there for......ever? Right now the Burger King on Pixley is far superior to you guys. Whoever manages this Wendy's needs the pull their head out of ... the ground, and get...
