Next Door Pub & Pizzeria is a hidden gem in Lake Geneva!

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm, friendly atmosphere that set the tone for an exceptional dining experience. The service was impeccable—our server was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and made us feel right at home.

The star of the show, however, was the food. We started with the garlic breadsticks, which were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, accompanied by a rich, flavorful marinara sauce. For the main course, we ordered two pizzas—one just cheese and the other the Garbage Pizza. The cheese pizza was a classic done right, with a deliciously gooey cheese blend and a perfectly baked crust. The Garbage Pizza, though, was the best pizza ever! Packed with a variety of fresh, tasty toppings, every bite was an explosion of flavors that left us craving more.

In addition to the fantastic food, the drink selection was impressive, featuring a great variety of local brews that perfectly complemented our meal. The cozy, casual ambiance made it a perfect spot for both a family dinner and a casual night out with friends.

It's no wonder they've been in business for 51 years. Their dedication to quality and customer satisfaction is evident in every aspect of the dining experience.

THANK GOD we found Next Door Pub & Pizza this past Monday 7/12/21 while visiting Lake Geneva for a 2 day getaway from Chicago. After reading the reviews online we decided to give them a try as they were roughly 7-8 minutes from the hotel we stayed in on main st. My wife and i arrived around 4 pm and alot of cars in lot so that was a good sign(popular place). We were pleasantly greeted by the hostess and seated immediately. Our server came to our table within 2-3 minutes. I was impressed with a big menu with many options including the pizza. Im also one who looks to see what others are enjoying. Being from Chicago and having great choices as CONNIES(ARCHER AV LOCATION DOWNTOWN MY FAVORITE) LOU MALNATIS and more sometimes im hesitant about ordering pizza away from home but Next Door changed that. I had the combo with sausage mushroom, green pepper,onion. Was very good just wish it had a little more sausage on it because the sausage had great flavor. Only reason i gave 4 STARS otherwise id give 5. My wife had the italian beef with the chips. It was a good size sandwich and the aujus was very flavorful.Food was delivered hot and in a timely manner because of waiting for a fresh pizza. The workers and servers (which there were a lot of) always were stopping by removing plates or for refills.they also look like they enjoy working there because always laughing and joking amongst each other. I could understand why all the cars were there. We will definitely come back when in the area!! GREAT JOB NEXT DOOR...

Sometimes things just don't go well and it appears that was the way it was on May 25, 2021 during our visit to the Next Door Pub, in Lake Geneva, WI. The staff was friendly and upbeat, especially our very pleasant waitress "Grace.". My wife ordered a ribeye sandwich, medium-rare, with onion rings. I ordered eggplant Parm. Both of our orders arrived in reasonable time, and my eggplant parm tasted okay, but my wife's steak was so we'll done that the charcoal crust actually flaked when she tried to cut into a with her steak knife. Okay, stuff happens, so we showed Grace the petrified specimen and she readily agreed that it needed to be replaced. Grace indicated she could replace it or my wife could order something else, so she ( my wife) her fingers and ordered a burger. Grace said she would rush it, but after fifteen minutes when no burger appeared and my meal had turned cold and unappetizing, we called it quits and asked for the check. Grace was apologetic and indicated there would be no charge for the steak and within a few minutes arrived back with the check and a burger in a to-go bag. We advised that we appreciated her gesture, but since we were staying in a nearby hotel and leaving first thing in the morning, to give the to-go meal away. So, based on our experience, would we recommend the Next Door Pub? "No," except for our waitress, who we gave an above average tip, we give this restaurant, on this night, a solid "2" out of "5."
