Slim Chickens — Restaurant in Appleton

Update: 9/25/24 THIS PLACE IS A JOKE!!! They are NEVER Truly Busy. NEVER. YET!!! Magically, they never have orders even remotely ready on time. And worse still, they COMPLETELY ignore customers, ALL THE TIME, it is not uncommon to stand at the counter for 8-15 mins before an employee actually addresses you, but they'll come up and glare at you like 5 times in that time. Happens ALL THE TIME.

What in the actual Hell, would you people do if you were ever actually busy??? Smdh.

I know good help can be hard to find but there's no excuse for this terrible level of service. Y'all fry chicken. There is very little actual cooking involved. Smdh. Somehow customers are always waiting when you're not even busy though... Maybe find some work ethic. This is just embarrassing. Honestly contemplating calling corporate, cus this needs to change. Do better.

They have read and responded to my comment yet nothing has changed. Hmm not a good look. And even worse look is having a restaurant with 16. I said 16! Tables, getting overwhelmed and behind with ONLY 6 OF THEM TAKEN. I mean it doesn't take an aerospace engineer to know there is some seriously bad management going on here. YOU ARE A FRIED CHICKEN RESTAURANT THAT CAN'T KEEP UP WITH FRYING CHICKEN WITH ONLY 6 TABLE FILLED. 20 MIN WAIT TIMES FOR FRIED CHICKEN?!?!? WHAT ARE YOU DOING BACK THERE?? I mean other than running your location into the ground and dragging your restaurants name through the dirt??? Smdh. Figure it out already

I haven't even tried the food, looks good. But the service here is TERRIBLE orders are regularly late, never up on time. Customers are always sitting around waiting. I just get told "it's coming up" yeah 10 mins after it's supposed to be ready is unacceptable. 15 even more so. Get your act together or you WILL NOT LAST at this location. Mind you this happens when they are only moderately busy like maybe 5 ppl in store. That's just embarrassing... I'd hate to see how you handle actually being busy. Figure...

First time here and probably last. Sat in the drive thru for 5 minutes without being acknowledged so I left to park and order inside. From the time I placed my order inside to getting the food, it took 40 minutes to get 2 sandwiches and fried pickles to-go. When I got my order, they forgot my shake which they weren't even aware of until I mentioned it. The first worker had to go back to the kitchen to get a second worker to tell me that they were out of shake mix, which is fine just strange that they took that long to tell me and were still accepting shake orders at the counter. Even stranger, when they told me they were out of shake mix the workers instantly started to walk away and I had to call back out to them to ask about a refund. Took an additional 5 minutes for the manager to come out and give me a refund. All and all, took 45 minutes which is far too long especially since they weren't super busy. I've been to Culvers' that have been jam packed and have never waited more than 15 minutes. On top of all that, I ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich NO ranch mayo, got the chipotle ranch sandwich instead WITH the mayo, making it inedible to the person it was for since they do not eat mayo. The buns were burnt on both sandwiches. Fried pickles were also overcooked, some were burnt. The cashier, Tyler J, did a great job. The order was entered correctly, all the errors seemed to have been back of the house issues and lack of communication with the front of the house. If any one of these things happened alone it wouldn't have been a huge deal, I understand things happen but with all this happening in one visit? Made for an overall bad experience. Giving two stars because the actual chicken sandwich was good, moist, nice breading. With all the extra hassles it's not worth it. Honestly felt like a waste of money. I'd rather just go to Popeyes which is equally good, if not better and the service is way...

If I could give this place, no stars they wouldn’t have any. I went to the drive-through and I ordered 3 orders of okra literally 10 pieces for almost 6 dollars okra for six dollars And you only get 10 pieces in your order This is not the place to go if you want to fill up just go to McDonald’s and get the five dollar meal because I just paid six dollars for 10 pieces of okra. I told the guy he said I’ll fix this and close the window and said have a nice day. I went through the drive-through this place is diabolical I would never in my life waste my money again eating at places like this because it’s pointless. You’re most definitely still gonna be hungry and the food was not good. I waited in drive-through all that time for nothing I should have just crossed the street and went to Taco Bell or went to Quiktrip and grab me something way better and still save money because I ordered three orders of okra in the 2 crispy chicken sandwiches. The pickle on The chicken sandwich is good. That’s the only good thing. I can say the okra please don’t get it. It’s a waste. literally 10 pieces and each one and I ordered three orders I would never go again. I learned my lesson my mom told me not to go here and I ordered sauce paid for it and didn’t get it I’ve been going to this place since it open and I have the app I never had the experience that I had today highly disappointed the man at the window is careless and he did not approach the situation at all I showed him and I told him and I showed him my my orders of okra and said I paid almost 6 dollars for each order for this and he said we’ll fix this and just close the window and said have a nice day I paid a total of $30 for my meal today and it’s not worth it and after reading the reviews and thinking, I was the only one that went through this this place does not care about its...
