Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Town of Greece

The worst customer experience I’ve ever had. I’d give 0 stars if I could. Now, I’m not one to use extremes, but when I place an online order at 2pm for delivery at 4:30pm and get called 10 minutes later to say that they are not able to start deliveries today until 5pm and that my order should arrive between 5 and 5:30...that’s inconvenient, but okay. They warned me. When it’s 5:42 and I get a text from them saying my pizzas on it’s way. Annoying, it’s already 12 min past the latest it should have been here. When it’s 6:10 and I call wondering where it is- I’m told they had a call in and the online system is messed up. But the delivery guy is walking out the door right now with my order. Okay. Understandable. When it’s 6:30 and I call because it’s 20 minutes late again, and then wait on hold for over 10 minutes. Very annoyed. When I call back immediately and wait on hold again for over 5 minutes, am told not sure where the delivery guy is, but the girl on the phone says she’ll talk to her manager about this. Okay. Still very annoyed. While waiting on hold, at 6:55 the pizza arrives, and the girl get back on the phone to tell me that her manager says I can have a $10 credit good for the next 30 days. I told her I was thinking more along the lines of free as this whole waiting thing was ridiculous. On hold for another few minutes. The girl nicely apologizes. Her manager says they can’t refund delivery orders. Even if the customer placed the order at 2pm. When the pizza arrived- it was cold. The girl I talked to on the phone was great. But I will be ordering my next pizza somewhere else and not recommending this...

I would actually give this zero stars, but need to give at least one so I can leave a review. We ordered the cheesy bites pizza online and were told we could pick it up in 15 minutes. When my wife went to pick it up, she needed to wait an additional half hour to be given the wrong pizza. When she said that was not what we ordered, she was told that the pizza we ordered was a special that they can no longer make. Instead of doing the logical thing and either calling us to clarify the order ( a question that didn't receive a response) or even giving us a stuffed crust pizza (next closest option) they made a bread stick pizza and tried to convince us this is what we ordered. When my wife persisted, she was told she had a right to be upset and that she should call and complain. No attempt was made to do anything other then deflect accountability. The young folks at the front counter were friendly and did their best, but management offered the no support whatsoever. Then, to top it all off, there is a sign next to the cash register that says "no refunds for cash or credit transactions." If your service and food are that bad, telling an unsatisfied customer they cannot have a refund is like a slap in the face- especially considring an online order requires pre-payment. One of the employees even compared his job to being in the Vietnam War! Poor form all around...

I haven't had Pizza Hut in roughly 15 years, since I was a kid. I was pleasantly surprised when taking that first bite and it tasting EXACTLY as I remembered. The 'Original Pan' is 100% the way to go, the other crust types just dont do it for me. We ordered a large Original Pan pepperoni, a medium Original Pan pepperoni, and breadsticks. Unfortunately, our large wasn't made as an Original Pan, but our medium was. Not a huge deal, was still very good. The food was ready just as I arrived, so it was very hot and fresh. I'd chose curbside pick-up in the app, but it wouldn't let me click "I'm here" when I arrived, so I went in to pick it up. Again, no big deal. Interior was very clean and tidy, and at the time I was the only customer. The woman that grabbed my order was very kind, greeted me and joked about me being "Curbside Thomas". I explained the app situation, she said it was fine, and I was on my way, Not without a kind farewell.

As I said at the start, 15 years; 1st time at this location, and despite the crust issue, it was great. It's a shame more people don't dine-in at Pizza Hut more often, it was my favorite place to eat out at as a kid besides a local diner. I will definitely be ordering from here again, and it definitely won't take 15 years this time.😅
