My family's first time eating at this restaurant was just stellar. We had gone out for dinner on Father's Day, and decided to eat here since we like trying new things. We were estimated at a 15-minute wait once we'd ordered, but the food was out within half that time, which was really nice. I tried the chicken shawarma pita, which was just phenomenal — whatever seasoning blend they add to the shawarma chicken was perfect. My mom tried their dolma (stuffed grape leaves) plate, and my dad tried their gyro plate, both of which came with a nice salad and a heaping serving of hummus, and both of their plates were polished off. My sibling got a marakeesh (though I can't remember which one), and though I never tried it, the rest of the family said it was also really good. The pita that was served with the hummus, both for the plates and the appetizer we ordered, was nice and warm, and the hummus itself just blows anything you can buy at the store out of the water. We also ended up trying both desserts they offer, the baklava and basbousa, both of which were a nice way to end the meal. They were incredibly filling, even though the four of us shared the two pieces of each that we got, and we all agree that the baklava is some of the best, if not the best outright, in the area.
The open-kitchen style of the restaurant was really nice, and even though there's only a few tables, it's definitely worth it to eat in if you have the time. All the staff who were working there while we were eating were also incredibly kind, and seem super passionate about the food they make. We only caught the name of one of the workers, Yasir, but the other two were equally kind, and even brought our food to the table for us — because we ate in, they even offered to warm our desserts! The only mistake that happened was a mishap in getting my dad's plate out since it didn't get on the ticket properly, which they offered to compensate for us, but everything was so good otherwise, and the plate itself came out as hot as everything else, that we insisted to pay for it.
I certainly recommend this restaurant if you like meditteranean food and shawarma, but if you haven't tried it, this is the place to go. Great prices for incredible food. In particular, the hummus and the baklava are to die for. Everyone in my family agrees that we will be...
Read moreJust had dinner here tonight with my girlfriend. We accidentally stumbled upon this place as we had originally planned to go to Windjammers, but they were too busy and we found this place on Google Maps.
So glad we did find this place because it turned out great. The food here was really good and pretty reasonably priced. I ordered the shawarma plate which came with chicken shawarma, salad hummus, a freshly made pita and I believe lamb (or maybe beef?) as well. I will definitely be back again and would recommend this to anyone who...
Read moreThis is the perfect spot for Shawarma, my husband and I generally get the Gyro plate and the Shawarma plate, which both come with a Greek salad and hummus with fresh pita bread. We usually go to the restaurant but we had it Grub Hubbed because I wasn't feeling well but Shawarma sounded great, it came within a 30 minute window of when I ordered it, and had it delivered and it was just as incredible as it is at the restaurant. Never had a bad experience here, will continue to come back and try...
