Regarding THAT lady that works here. HERE’S THE SCENE:
My wife. Timid little thing, quiet, respectful. Never has ordered from Chipotle before—places an order online for pickup at 12:00. She arrives at 12:02–2 minutes into her 30 minute lunch break from work—order isn’t there. After some time, a staff member see’s she’s been waiting and inquires. My wife gives her name and the order, they say it’s not in their system but they’ll take care of it. They then SPECIFY for her to STAND EXACTLY where she proceeded to be standing for the rest of this incident (about 6+ feet from the cashiers, off to the side).
12:25 rolls around, I enter the store and see my wife still waiting. I ask the cashier when I find an opening between orders being paid for. “Hi, excuse me, I’m sorry, do you know where this 12:00 order for [WIFE’S NAME] is? It’s just two tacos, but it’s been 25 minutes.”
They respond that they had noticed something with it, and then go and check on something but communication with us stops.
12:30 rolls around. Still confused, I ask the cashiers “I’m sorry, do you know the status of that order?”
They respond that they’re not sure. And then the manager(?)—slightly older lady in the front handling the walk-in orders gets involved. She comes in like she’s defending her staff like they’re her children and I’m a rabid BEAST. I’m a small dude and my wife is the most timid thing you’ve ever seen, keep in mind. The manager(?) tells me to TAKE A STEP BACK (I was pretty dang far from the cashiers, maybe 2-3x further than people paying for their orders. Keep in mind I’m right next to my wife who is standing exactly where they told her to stand)—I immediately take a step back, trying to avoid what has suddenly elevated into confrontation.
She continues: “Your order will come out when it comes out. You can cancel your order if you like.” Giving me the f*ck-off look the whole time of course.
I make one feeble attempt to explain, “it’s been half an hour and my wife is just waiting for two tacos.”
The response, “you can cancel your order then. But DON’T TALK TO MY STAFF LIKE THAT.”
My wife in near tears says “why are you talking to him like that?”
I say it’s fine. She then is attempting to cancel the order on her phone, but I guess the app says you need to make an account to do that. So while she was trying to do that, 3 minutes later her order came out.
No apology for the wait, of course.
Beat for beat, this is exactly what happened. Near verbatim.
Oh, best part. Order consisting of 2 identical tacos (chicken, cheese, lettuce, sour cream) was WRONG (1 chicken, 1 steak, no sour cream). Real win today.
TL;DR waited 33 minutes for an online order, manager older lady got confrontational for no reason as I inquired twice very calmly and respectfully with...

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5)
Review: I recently had the pleasure of dining at Chipotle, and I must say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles from the staff, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, adding to the overall positive impression.
One of the highlights of my visit was the exceptional quality of the food. Chipotle's burritos are truly delicious and packed with flavor. The choice of ingredients is extensive, allowing me to customize my burrito to perfection. From the tender and flavorful meats to the fresh veggies and mouthwatering salsas, every component was of top-notch quality. The portion sizes were generous, leaving me completely satisfied.
What impressed me even more was the efficiency of the service. The staff members were attentive and quick to take my order. Despite the lunchtime rush, they managed to maintain a fast-paced and organized workflow, ensuring that the line moved smoothly. I appreciate their dedication to providing prompt service without compromising on the food's quality.
I would also like to commend the staff on their knowledge and enthusiasm. They were well-informed about the various menu options and were more than happy to offer suggestions based on my preferences. Their passion for the food they serve was evident, and it made the dining experience all the more enjoyable.
Chipotle's commitment to sustainable and ethically sourced ingredients is another aspect that deserves recognition. It's reassuring to know that the food I'm enjoying is made with high-quality ingredients that align with my values.
Overall, Chipotle exceeded my expectations in terms of both taste and service. It's an excellent option for a quick and satisfying meal. I highly recommend Chipotle to anyone craving flavorful Mexican-inspired cuisine. Whether you're a fan of burritos, bowls, or salads, you won't be disappointed!

Read moreEnvironment: Went in at 3 PM on a Sunday, and the place was a mess. It was clear the staff was still recovering from the lunch rush, and the only other customers were UAlbany students, who seemed to treat it as their personal cafeteria. Every surface had remnants of food or something gross on it. Staff: The workers were friendly enough but obviously overworked, handling an online order that was hastily thrown together before mine. I stood as the only customer in line, watching the beleaguered assembly line. The presumable absence of management on a Sunday might be understandable, but it didn’t help the situation. Food: The meat options looked unappealing, and many of the food bins had cross-contamination issues, like corn in the sour cream and green salsa in the regular salsa. The whole place just felt dirty, which is disappointing since it used to be a go-to spot after Moe’s went downhill. Ironically, the Moe’s in Latham is now spotless and more family-friendly.I hope they can turn things around because this Chipotle is becoming as gross and disorganized as the Blaze Pizza across the plaza. I had to be strategic with my burrito bowl ingredients to avoid anything that looked like it had been sitting too long or had stuff accidentally mixed in. These made-to-order places really need to streamline their ingredient setup to prevent cross-contamination—putting the corn behind the sour cream is just asking for trouble. If you’re looking for a decent meal and a good dining experience, I’d suggest going elsewhere. I refuse to order online because they often mess up orders or skimp on ingredients. In-person was okay food-wise, but I’d be wary to go unless you have know how to navigate the overall lack of cleanliness. Two burrito bowls and a fountain drink for $28 isn't worth it personally. McDonald's is cleaner and cheaper, or spending double for a sit-down restaurant with a better reputation are way better values in my opinion (unless you're a broke college student--in which...
