I have been here about 5 times now.. the first time was enjoyable.. good food and plenty of beers to choose from.
I returned the next time because we had enjoyed our first visit. The royal sub was really good but the guy at the bar next to me wouldn't shut up kept chiming in to the conversation I was having with my girlfriend and was just overall extremely loud and obnoxious, even after the bartender said something to him... He was also clearly drunk but was still being served. It was not a great experience by any means.
A few weeks back, I went back to give them a chance and got a beef on weck. It was so overly salted it was inedible, including the fries. I was able to eat about 2 bites of the sandwich. before giving up and going to Burger King for dinner. That was after the bartender didn't do much but apologize for the food... no offer of having it remade or if I wanted something else.
Some would call me crazy but I gave them one more shot the other day and sat there for 10 minutes before being greeted at all by the bartender, which was a quick "ill be right with you".. I minutes or so later, another employee came in and started talking to people that were already served with food and never even acknowledged us, or that we had nothing in front of us, drinks or menus. When the original bartender finally did greet us to get drinks, I got a sample I didn't like, and the beer my girlfriend chose keg kicked, so she got about a quarter of a beer. The bartender told us she would change the keg to something else... but then forgot about us or something? I was never asked about the sample if I liked it or wanted to go another direction, and we never received menus either. It had been about 20/25 minutes at that point, and we chose to leave..
Went down the street to Prohibition and was served almost immediately and food to the table in less than the time we...
Read moreIf you’re reading this, don’t waste your time with this place. Just go somewhere else Every experience here has been a complete and utter failure. The staff is rude and flat out ignores people. My most recent visit my family attempted to use this location as a place to meet up. I had a tab open for over an hour as I waited for them to arrive. Even though last call had not happened and I was at the bar with an open tab the two other people I was with were not allowed to come inside the building. Other patrons were still being served and we intended on ordering one round before last call which there was still time for. The security guard at one point said one of the two people meeting me could come inside but not the other or I could leave. Last call had not been vocalized by the bar staff and people were still being served. I had an open tab and had been sitting there for close to an entire half of a football game specifically waiting for the two other members of the party to arrive. After giving this place an ample number of chances we will not be coming back. I advise you...
Read moreI’ve been to the Taproom several times and have always had a great experience, especially with Lindsay, the manager, and Brooklyn, the waitress. Whenever I’m in town, this is one of my first stops—it’s the perfect place to go after a Bills game.
From start to finish, the experience is consistently incredible. The service is fast and friendly, and the food never disappoints. You can’t go wrong with the classic cheese and pepperoni pizza, but their specialty pizzas are not to be missed. I’ve tried the Buffalo Chicken, Lasagna, and Three Cheese Steak pizzas, and each one was seriously amazing.
Their wings are also a standout—my personal favorite is the Bourbon Whiskey BBQ. They always have the perfect amount of sauce, just the right crisp, and so much flavor. I crave their food weekly and only wish I lived closer.
Keep up...
