Cute little sandwich and burger place in a strip plaza in Orchard Park. Indoor dining is available, with sit-down meals, orders taken at the table by wait staff. We chose to eat outside because it was a nice Friday night and they offered wrought iron type tables just outside their door, under the covered plaza walkway. The view was just the parking lot, but that was fine. Prices are reasonable. We ordered 3 drinks, 1 appetizer, 2 burgers, and 1 sandwich. All meals came with fries/onion rings. They also offer tater tots but we did not choose that option. Total with 20% tip was just over $71.00.
The Good: The service was fast, and all of our food was delicious! Good fries at a place like this is critical, and theirs did not disappoint. Onion rings were big with a nice dark brown crispy coating. One of our burgers came with waffles as the bun...let me tell you, this was THE BEST waffle I have ever had! Thick, puffy, sweet, crispy perfection. I kept wishing it was on a breakfast menu with a nice cup of coffee instead of on a burger for dinner! The sandwich was a Reuben with lots of dressing, thicker cut cheese, grilled perfectly.
The Not So Good: Only two things. The corned beef on the sandwich, while tasty and sliced paper thin, was barely noticable. Maybe an attempt to keep prices in check, but the marker of a great Reuben is the nice pile of NYC style corned beef. Theirs? 2 thin little slices which was very underwhelming and disappointing. The second thing we all noticed was the tiny single-serve plastic cups of ketchup we each received. Not nearly enough. I'm sure we could have asked for more, but why not the typical bottle? Perhaps because we were outside? Not sure, but it was a little annoying.
That being said, if those are the only 'complaints', that's not too bad! We would absolutely go back again when in the mood for that...
Read moreWe have been dying to try Off The Wall and we were lucky enough to the have the opportunity this past weekend.
The menu had a lot of items. It was mostly a ton of unique sandwich and burger combinations along with some starters, salads, specials and a kids menu. The variety of choices made it hard to make a selection but we were finally able to narrow it down.
I had the Billz Mafia burger, no bun, and I was thrilled they offered sweet potato fries. The burger was tasty and juicy, plenty of blue cheese crumbles, thick cut bacon and chicken wing dip as toppings. There was also a chicken finger tossed in for good measure. It was very rich and filling, it would be a good option to split. I could only eat half and I brought the rest home for dinner. My significant other tried The Ralph. He says it was delicious. The cheese, wing dip, bacon and chicken finger were a great combination and they didn’t skimp on toppings. The menu said there was fried chicken in this sandwich. He tells me a chicken finger is a more accurate description of what he was served.
There were gluten free bun and bread options which was a huge plus. The feeling of the place was casual but nice. Inside the restaurant there was plenty of seating or you could take out as well. If you choose to dine in they offered table service so no one was standing around, a nice touch. Our server, McKenzie, was very friendly and helpful. She quickly found answers to all my questions about ingredients. She was a fantastic server and a definite asset to the restaurant.
We had a nice time and enjoyed our food. We can’t wait to come back and try...
Read moreLived up to its name for sure! I have been seeing tons of Facebook sponsored ads with mouth watering food and we found ourselves in OP today so decided to give it a try. We placed an order online from a park 6 minutes away…drove to the restaurant, ran in my 7 year old to use the bathroom and the food was already done. We have a family of 5 and ordered 2 appetizers too. Very fast service. We also drove about 15 minutes home (which is usually when most food becomes soggy, slides in the boxes etc.) and the buns were still perfectly crisp. My VERY picky 7 year old said it was the best grilled cheese sandwich she had ever had. Everything was delicious. Only suggestion is to warm/thin the marinara sauce a little more, it was playing hard to get and kept coming out in one blob. I read through some other reviews and wanted to remind you, you can’t please everyone, and the general public has no idea what it’s like to own and operate a business and pour your heart and soul into it to be criticized and publicly rated for uncontrollable issues. From a fellow small business owner to another, excellent work. Your effort and creativity does not go unnoticed. Thanks for an...
