Rachel's Mediterranean Grill is a fast-casual restaurant that emphasizes a healthy, balanced lifestyle without sacrificing flavor. Their menu is based on Mediterranean cuisine and offers customizable options like bowls and wraps, allowing you to choose from a variety of fresh, all-natural ingredients. The concept is to offer a healthy alternative to traditional fast food, focusing on fresh ingredients and mouthwatering flavors. The restaurant was originally a neighborhood cafe and deli in Buffalo, NY, founded by the Khoury family in 2006 and named after their youngest sister, Rachel. In 2012, the founders, brothers Joe and G Khoury, expanded the business into a fast-casual restaurant with the opening of Rachel’s Grill. They now have 14 locations across New York and Texas. Rachel's Mediterranean Grill is committed to providing fresh, healthy food in a fast and convenient way. They have a customizable menu that includes options like salad bowls, rice bowls, and pita wraps. Each dish is prepared fresh and cooked to order in an open kitchen setting, allowing customers to witness the preparation of their meals. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Rachel's Mediterranean Grill, and I must say, the experience was delightful. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the warm and inviting atmosphere of the restaurant. The staff, though limited in number, were incredibly efficient and hospitable, making me feel welcomed and valued as a customer. As I placed my order, I was impressed by the knowledge and friendliness of the staff. Despite being busy, they took the time to explain the menu and offered suggestions based on my preferences. The efficiency with which they handled the orders, even during a rush, was commendable. It was evident that each member of the team was dedicated to providing excellent service. The food arrived promptly, and I was amazed by the flavors and presentation. Each ingredient in my Mediterranean bowl was fresh, and the combination of flavors was a delightful experience for my taste buds. The portion size was generous, and the quality of the food was top-notch. What really stood out to me was the teamwork and coordination among the staff. They worked seamlessly together, ensuring that every customer received prompt and attentive service. Despite the challenges of limited staffing, they managed to create a pleasant and efficient dining experience.

I will preface this with I was there an hour before they closed. They were out of many items but the girl who prepared my food was good and i was understanding. The girl who cashed me out on the other hand... whew. She was about 16 and had the worst attitude behind the counter I've ever experienced at a Rachel's. She would ask a question with her back tuned and expected you to hear her. I gave her specifics as to what sides I wanted and she came back and charged me for "everything" because I apparently had told her I wanted "everything". When she told me the total for 3 salads and fries was almost $70 I knew something was wrong. I asked her to repeat back what she was charging me for and when I stopped her and explained that you can't charge me for dressing that comes with the salad she rolled her eyes so far back into her head I was impressed. She grabbed the manager who was very nice and explained that yes.. you do get dressing with a salad. (Obviously) once the manager walked away she proceeded to slam and I do mean slam because there were dents in the cups of dressing into my bag. She stomped away and ran to the back where I saw her sit down, put her feet on the desk and talk to her fellow coworker aggressively like i had made her angry. The manager did briefly apologize saying that there's been many complaints before about her nasty attitude and they usually keep her in the back because of it. I don't like to write negative reviews but this young girl really needs to be held accountable because who knows how many people have had this experience or had to pay an outrageous amount of money due to her laziness.

This was my first Rachel’s experience. Ordered on their website to pick up at McKinley location. Not usually a fan of ordering online takeout ever, but how Rachel’s is set up I wish all places had the same format and process. Husband ordered a rice bowl (pictured) I got a salad bowl, we got fries to share. Order was ready on time, the young girl behind the counter seemed annoyed I interrupted her convo with her coworker to be served. Or just ready for the day/her shift to be over. I should have checked the bag when I put it in my back seat since the sauces seemed thrown in the bag on the side of the containers. Hindsight, because when I got home 2 of the 5 Greek dressings were spilled inside the bag (pictured). Their bags are great quality so none ended up on seat of car. Meals were super fresh high quality ingredients and extremely tasty, minus the soggy fries which are to be somewhat expected with takeout. My only let down of it all even with the spilled dressing, and it was a big let down was we ordered garlic sauce and got tzatziki instead. The garlic sauce is why I wanted to try Rachel’s, no joke. We also ordered 3 sides of pita, on the order page it is pictured with 2 slices of pita but you only get one slice in the order. I am really craving some garlic sauce.

Stopped by the Blasdell location on a Saturday June 1st around 6:30 pm. We have been to the location before during the week and never had any issues. When we walked in the place was an absolute mess, all the tables were dirty, both the men’s and ladies room were filthy trash cans over flowing. We noticed as we stood in-line the three young ladies behind the counter looked stressed and unsure of what they were doing, you could also see the tension between them. My wife and I ordered two rice bowls and an order of Greek fries. That’s when the confusion set in even more for the young ladies behind the counter. One young lady asking the others if the fries were fresh and no one would respond to her. The one girl was totally rude to her and the costumers. We paid for our meal and were told once the fries were ready they would be brought to us. So we sat, took our time eating and started noticing other costumers losing patience. One group that was there maybe 10 minutes before us were also waiting for Greek fries and got them about 30 minutes after they ordered and already ate. Leaving, the one gentleman said this is my first and last time eating here as the service was horrendous and he had to ask 3 times for his order. We approached the counter twice once halfway through our meal to check and make sure the employees still knew we were there and waiting. We were told we would have our order in a few minutes. Another 15 minutes went by and we again went to the counter after we finished our meal to get the fries to go. We were told that they had run out of feta cheese and we could have the fries with out the feta. Well we love feta, so we asked for a refund. The employee tells us there is no supervisor on site or manager and she would have to call one, which she did as no one in the store could issue a refund. She then tells one of the employees to go to the store to buy more feta. You could see the kid was relived to get out of the store, unfortunately leaving the place even more short staffed. The manager or supervisor then tells her to take our phone number and they will call us tomorrow to issue a refund. Not trying to add to the leaderless staffs stress as you could see it in their faces we left gave our info and left. Well, next day no call no refund. While a lot of this was going on one employee most likely on break sat on their phone in the dinning room, clearly something some kind of leadership would of noticed and possibly called over to help with the rush. Looked like two to three employees were working the counter, unsure if anyone was in the back. Hopefully I get a call on Monday. If not we will make a stop by the restaurant and see what the story was as there were at least 6 other customers not to pleased. Something else noticed which I am sure the restaurant is not responsible for but at least 4 vehicles parked in the handicap spots out front without handicap stickers or plates. As we were leaving another group pulled in and I said to the group that they were open non handicapped spots about 30’ away. They people backed...

Beware McKinley Pkwy Location been going here for couple of years they have been ripping me off and probably everyone else the whole time. I always get chicken souvlaki wrap & steak souvlaki wrap always charge $35.78 w/taxes. Recently went to the Walden location charged me $29.34 said very cheap compared to McKinley location. I looked at the receipt which never have gotten a receipt from the McKinley location. It showed $12.99 for chicken & $13.99 for steak + taxes ($29.34). So I looked at the online pricing it showed the same thing $12.99 & $13.99 for both locations. Just today 4/8/24 I went to the McKinley location and ordered the same thing they quoted me $35.78 I questioned the cashier how come your prices do not match your online pricing or Walden location he said let me get you my manager. I talked to the manager he said he doesn't know the pricing he just hits buttons on register it adds it for you. He said maybe the online pricing is wrong I said maybe your system is wrong. I asked him what does it show when you press chicken souvlaki he said $12.99 , and I then asked what does it show when press steak souvlaki he said $13.99. i said then your system or something is wrong because if add those it comes to $26.98 + taxes $2.36($29.34). I said that is over charging me by over$6.00 that is a lot and been doing that couple years been coming here . He said well that is what his system tells them what it is. I said it is wrong. I had to get really upset with him to charge me the correct amount. He gave me my correct change back with taxes within seconds like he knew the correct amount the whole time. I repeated that Walden location and online pricing had no problem charging me the correct amount. The manager said maybe I should go to the Walden location next time. I said I will because of the poor customer service and not wanting to be ripped off anymore. Also, I left and again no receipt like all other previous visits here. Stay away from this location unless you don't mind being ripped off. Also, if the owner really cares they should look into what is happening with all that over charged money. I have unknowingly been over charged whole time I...
