I was finally able to come inside and enjoy a drink at the Foxglove! I’ve made several attempts but since it’s so small with very limited seating there is usually no room. First of all let me say this place is decorated beautifully. It looks like something concocted from a sweet daydream of a book lover. There are all kind of books and stained glass details which are beautiful. It also happens to have some pretty tasty cocktails which is a plus. Their menu is not updated on any of their pages so I can’t remember what I ordered. It was a cocktail that mixed crisp, dry white wine, some kind of spirit and club soda. It was refreshing, interesting and light yet had just enough flavor to make it unique. The service was good. There were 2 bartenders that night who were helpful, attentive and friendly.
There are a few tables with umbrellas outdoors in the front. A bar and some tables on the first floor inside and a metal spiral staircase which has a few small tables on the 2nd floor. Def not a great place for groups. Try and come at an odd time...
Read moreThis was my second time visiting the pub and I’m still loving the vibe. They just launched a new cocktail menu and let me tell you, the Crisp Creekside Martini and Espresso Martini are already stealing the show. The creekside martini (gin) is light, clean, and refreshing—like sipping on a quiet evening by the water. And the espresso martini? Rich, smooth (not creamy versions), and not too sweet—basically, your new favorite pick-me-up.
But honestly, it’s the atmosphere that gets you. Walking in feels like stepping into your cool uncle’s vintage library or a cozy, lived-in den where the drinks just happen to be amazing. Every corner has something interesting to look at—quirky statues, stained glass windows, vintage books, art, and some incredibly cute printed wallpaper that ties it all together.
It’s the kind of place where you end up staying longer than you planned. Whether you’re on a date, catching up with a friend, or having a solo nightcap, there’s something really special (and strangely comforting) about it. Definitely want to be a...
Read moreAs a resident of the village of Hamburg, I am so glad someone from our community gave us the beautiful gift of this special place to go have a grown up drink. Grab a drink from one of the very friendly and professional bartenders, then take a seat and do yourself a favor and notice every gorgeous detail. From the Irish stained glass, to the art deco decor, to the beautiful bookcases filled with vintage bound books every inch is covered in either exquisite craftsmanship or immense style. The cocktails are absolutely delicious and made with the same care and attention to detail as the structure itself. The Foxglove Pub is a Hamburg Village husband and wife team’s love letter to our cozy, quaint, and down-to-earth town. I am very excited to spend a quiet afternoon sipping delicious drinks in the most stunning neighborhood bar I have ever seen. Some of those afternoons may turn into very fun evenings because once you step in, it will be very hard to leave! I’m so happy this bar is located in my very...
