Ed's Pizza & Kitchen — Restaurant in Town of Haverstraw

My coworker and I had 2 very different experiences ordering salads. Her chicken Caesar salad came loaded with chicken and a delicious creamy dressing. My "zesty shrimp salad however had only 5 pieces of shrimp, a sad sprinkling of tomato and cucumbers and the rest was badly cut bitter iceberg lettuce. My "zesty vinaigrette" was more oil than anything else and tasted like oil with a little Italian dressing mixed in. I can't believe I was charged $13.99 for a sad subpar salad. This was especially upsetting because I chose the shrimp salad over the steak salad because I didn't just want oil and vinegar and there was no option to change the dressing on door dash. I’ve been coming to Ed’s Pizza for about 2 years now. All their slices, especially the speciality slices are delicious. They have an awesome menu - even the sandwiches are great. White slice and garlic knots are my top favorite. Ed and his team are such sweet genuine people. He always has a smile on his face and makes his customers feel right at home. The sauce is disrespectful. I ordered a cheese pizza and a pepperoni/sausage pizza. The first bite of the cheese pizza made me wonder if I'd lost my sense of taste until the sugary-ness hit me. You taste a hint of tomato and then you get hit with a bucket of sweetness. The same went for the pepperoni/sausage. There's no doctoring I can do to save these pizzas. They're too strangely sweet to eat -- I have to throw them out. I wasted money.
