Drove from staten island to try this pizza. I follow the original on instagram and really enjoyed the content but as i dove deeper i really enjoyed his process with ingredients like the sourdough. I was going to plan a trip with the wife and kids to hit Pittsburgh (which we still will) but when i saw this opening i had to jump on the soft opening. Well it didn’t disappoint you need to go NOW!!!!! I had the classic and the primo. On the first bite you can taste the REAL ingredients ITS REAL FOOD. We had the opportunity of trying out pizza from a Slice of NY Squared over the weekend. The owner were lovely and gave us a little background info of the ingredients used for their pizza. We ordered the plain/original pie as it was recommended to us that it was the best way to try it for our first time. The pie was made fresh and the slices were huge. The sourdough crust was definitely VERY light and did not make us feel bloated after eating it.

Pricing on the printed menu was slightly different from what was charged. There are some benches and tables for you to sit and eat if you choose to.
