Recently, I was dining a the Burger King located at 665 Rockaway Tpke, Lawrence, NY. I had with me, my fiancé, her kid brother and kid cousin, so four of us in total. I ordered 3 hamburgers, 2 chicken sandwiches, both grilled and crispy, and 2 bacon cheeseburgers.
When I came to pay for the food, I happily obliged. I have always liked Burger King. Their hamburgers are clearly better than McDonald's, any day of the week. However, when I asked the woman behind the counter for a cup of water, (I wasn't looking to cheat them out of a nickel's worth of soda, I wanted to take a pill!) She refused to serve me water! She told me it was not Burger King's policy to give out tap water, and that I could purchase bottled water. Furthermore, I asked for an extra packet of ranch, and I again was told I would be charged for it! For a sauce packet?!? You're kidding me, right? What does it cost Burger King to make those? 3 cents? This was on top of them screwing up my order to begin with, I walked away from the counter with a bag missing two burgers, and had to go back and explain what happened twice before they finally understood.
These people have a lot of nerve! I give them my business and they nickel and dime me to death! I don't care about the money, it's really the principal of the matter. I will not be returning. What a ridiculous way to treat a paying customer. I'd rather starve than get treated like a chump. Thanks...
Read moreApril 2023 - visited 2x this month. Went through the drive thru and after they confirmed my order and drove to the window. I was told to backup. When asked, it something at their numbers and the prep time. Promo running was for BOGO sausage biscuit. They didn't have biscuits they offered to substitued with croissant. And was surprised when I asked for jelly.
April 2023 - This time I did a pick up order and when I went to the front door it was locked. Outside signs days it's open 24 hours, front door sign says opens at 7am (it was after 7). Had to go to the drive thru for my order. Again no biscuits ("they were being maded"). Again took the substitute croissants but when I took the first bite.
You can immediately tell the croissants were a day old (too crumbly) and the sausage was just warm.
I'm going to stop going there. Near cold, old food, locked doors, and I don't like being manipulated to make their drive thru times look better.
May 2023 Again order the same breakfast promo BOGO Sausage Biscuits. And again just croissant.
Maybe the biscuit maker needs to come in an hour earlier to get the biscuits going.
I wonder what Corporate would think of this. Especially since no Management replied to this long ongoing detailed review/problem. No I didn't mind the crossaint but would have liked to have a biscuit at one in...
Read moreAround 11:30 pm last night I arrived to burger king. I didn’t have the worst experience however it wasn’t the best. There was a long line of cars so I sat in the drive thru for about 25 minutes. The young lady who took my order was very sweet and patient with me regardless of how many customers she had.(I believe she told me her name was Destiny) My experience was going lovely until I arrived at the window. When I arrived at the window I sat there for about 5-6 minutes before the young lady came to charge me for my order. She seemed very overwhelmed and looked alittle ill so I asked her if she was okay and she said yes and had a big smile. My issue here was there was another young darkskin girl standing infront of me on her phone not helping the other young lady. And 2 more ladies appeared to be standing not to far from the window talking in what I believe was Spanish and laughing. My heart goes out to that young girl she looked so stress and no one around her helped. In an establishment there should be teamwork not one person doing everyone’s job.
