Passing through, we pulled up restaurants nearby and now we know why they rank five stars! Food and service were amazing! Can I start with the crusty pheasant bread with olive oil? Delish, but then the awesome waitress told me about the grated cheese she likes to sprinkle on it. I could have left there and been totally happy. Wine and bread. That’s it. The meal came out. Souvlaki. Pork bites grilled on a skewer with rice, vegetables cooked to perfection, and tzatziki sauce. All fantastic. I had no more room except to force down the last two bites of the bread. Declined the homemade pies and cakes tormentingly displayed in a glass case. We paid our Bill in total bliss, then the owner sent us a complimentary sample of his chocolate pie. How could I refuse? I stretched and patted my stomach and worked down half of that delicious pie with my husband. I’m a crust person. The crust was bountiful and complimented that chocolate pudding and meringue with shaved chocolate topping it off. I floated back to the hotel and took the stairs to balance my overindulgence. Not only was the food terrific, but the people working there offered a personal touch that made me want to go back my next trip to NY. Texas woman ranks this a...
Read moreThis is my favorite restaurant. All portions are huge. The staff recommends sharing and there is no additional charge to do so. Ask for my favorite wait person, Susan. She is an amazing waitress; extremely helpful and very knowledgeable about the selections. All of the staff is very helpful. Jack will always comes up with a new entree selection, as well as delicious homemade desserts. Nelson will warmly greet you, as you arrive for your delicious meal. The burgers are delicious. The vegetable and meat pies are made from scratch at the restaurant. If they have soft shell crabs, they are out of this world. Definitely the best to order them. You can have them fried or sauteed in garlic, lemon, and butter. When the ribs are available, they are delicious. I love the fish and chips. The chips are homemade, delicious, crunchy. Just amazing. Fresh bread is baked every day, which is served with garlic oil and butter. You could also order the pita bread with Tzatziki sauce. The fish is super fresh. The steaks are delicious. Everything is great. Service is outstanding. Moderately priced. Homemade...
Read moreFound this little gem right across from our hotel. It was amazing. My husband had the chicken bruschetta with steak fries and grilled corn. Such large portions. The chicken was moist and tender and steak fries had crispy outside layer. I had one of the specials which was a chicken meatball and chicken sausage over a bed of angel hair pasta with olive oil and a side of delicious marinara sauce. So delicious. Each meal came with a salad and we selected the Greek salad. They each came in a mixing size bowl. So generous. Lots of yummy red peppers, olives, tomatoes, onions, radishes and cucumbers with feta cheese and yummy oil type dressing. A plate of homemade bread was brought first. Meal was around $75 with tip. We thought very reasonable. The servers were delightful and gentlemen at the counter very friendly. The pies looked simply amazing but we were stuffed. Highly recommend. So many other things on menu. Hard to choose. We took servers...
