Dolce Bella — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

I want to take a moment to relay how incredible Doce Bella is. I live in the Bronx and I haven’t had the pleasure of tasting any sweets from here myself but my sister and nieces RAVE about Doce Bella. My sister says that not only are their products delicious but the owners and staff are friendly, welcoming and fun. A few days ago when my sister had to put down her beloved dog of 12 years, I wanted to send something to cheer her, my nieces and brother in law up since I couldn’t be there in person. I recalled how highly my sister spoke of Doce Bella and ordered 12 of their mini cannoli variety packs via Door Dash. In the comments I wrote what had happened and thanked Doce Bella for being so great to my family. They went ABOVE and BEYOND. They sent a bunch of extra cannolis and flavors to the house and even hand wrote my message on the box with a heart. It’s this type of care and detail that makes a place feel like family. I went here with my sister and my mother because my mother figured coming here would be nice as she has seen good reviews on it and they were not wrong, we got 2 double scoops of gelato for me and my sibling and a 1 scoop of gelato for my mother and I should add that the portion sizes are great! I never got the name of the two men up front but they were very nice and they made sure to give big scoops and it seems like any gelato flavor there would be nice as I don’t like hazelnut but when my mom made my try it out I loved it and me and my sister absolutely devoured our 2 scoops of gelato in a minute as you can see and we got 1 scoop of cookies and cream and 1 scoop of Nutella for both our 2 scoops and I would highly recommend Nutella to anyone who comes here and just to add since I almost forgot the design of the place is quite creative and for some reason it helped...

I can't say enough good things about Dolce Bella! I booked them last minute, and they were not only available but incredibly accommodating and efficient to get us on the books. It was a two-person team, and both were punctual, professional, and an absolute delight to work with. The guests LOVED the gelato and cannolis too. Dolce Bella added a fun, unique component to our event by allowing guests to choose their own flavors and dessert, from gelato to Italian ice, to the cannolis, we had variety of flavors to choose from.
