EVOO Deli — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

I work locally and eat here a few times a week. I can honestly say it's hands down the best deli in the Long Beach/Island Park area. Most places usually are good in one area. They'll make good breakfast sandwiches, but lunch is whatever, or vice versa. However, EVOO is amazing around the clock. Huge menu to choose from for breakfast and lunch. I try new things here all the time and it never disappoints. You can taste everything is made fresh and in house. And even with fresh ingredients it's very reasonably priced. I work later afternoons/evenings and I always brining food with me on the go. I’m very particular with my delis, decided to give these guys a shot.

Boom! Home Run. So clean and fresh, friendly, boars head products, bagels, omelets and shawarma. What else can you ask for? Can’t wait to keep trying new things. So far I haven’t gotten past the roast beef, juicy and rare. They always ask if I want extra mayo or a sauce on the side. I call it in and when I get there 8 minutes later it’s on the counter waiting.

Thankful for a true operation I can add to my lunch rotation. I will see you guys...

Would like to give a shout out to EVOO Deli. We always get our egg sandwiches there but we had to quickly order a buffet lunch. Went in to talk to the owners and what came out was more than outstanding! 3 ft chicken cutlet hero, platter of delicious assorted wraps (plain and gluten free), couple of salads.

There was so much and we thought we would have too much left over…everyone loved it all and some made baggies togo!
