So sorry to say these guys seem over it. They no longer show any enthusiasm, their deli cases are 1/2 full and seem to be stocked more like a walk-in box than a display case, the place seems dirty, grubby. It’s cluttered, dark and disjointed. The pasta salad displayed was literally dried and hard on the edges 🤯, anything with mayo was obviously very old because you could see the hardened, yellowed mayo around the rims of the pans, the cookies were like cement, seriously, cement. It’s a shame. Past time...

I visited in early February and found the food to be fantastic. I had The Hempstead Avenue with my sausage mixed at the suggestion of the gentleman at the counter. Fantastic sandwich and almost more than I could eat -- not an easy feat. Incredibly nice folks, good food and a place with sweet tea outside the south.
