A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Garden City!
Rating: 5/5 stars
I stumbled upon this amazing spot in the heart of Garden City, on 7th Street in Nassau County, New York, and I'm so glad I did! This place is a must-visit for foodies and health enthusiasts alike.
Whether you're in the mood for lunch, dinner, or brunch, they've got you covered. Their menu offers a wide range of options, including smoothie bowls, salads, and sandwiches. You can choose from chicken, meat, or veggie options, and they even offer large vegetable sprouts!
What impressed me most was their attention to detail. They warm up their ingredients on a small grill, and their cooler area offers a variety of bite-sized snacks, & drink , including organic power shots. Their smoothies are a must-try, with options like green, berry, and fruit, all packed with protein.
The staff is friendly and busy, but I had a chance to chat with the manager, who was super cool and welcoming. The outdoor seating area is perfect for a sunny day, and the inside is cozy and fun.
Overall, this place is a gem in the heart of Garden City. Don't miss out on the opportunity...
Read moreFood for thought has always been my go-to meal before Panera Bread. I now order online where it is absolutely NEVER right. I get a bowl usually and I’ve always asked for two sauces in and BOTH on the side as well. There was one time they didn’t put ANY sauce on OR include extra. It was so bland and hard to stomach as someone who notoriously is not a vegetable person. The other time again NO SAUCE on the food BUT they included only ONE of the TWO sauces. In this order however, my smoothie didn’t have fro-yo or mango AND there was no cheese or red onions in my bowl. I’ve never had this problem until I ordered online which I have to because of my new job.
In person, I had made a CYO bowl which they put a cover on it that said “Hit the Road Jack” so I was under the impression they gave me the wrong food. Mind you, I am already home and opened the bag to see that. I wasn’t gonna open someone else’s food and when I WENT BACK, the employee said “That is your food, we just put a random cover on.” That’s not a good or even valid excuse. Imagine it was someone else’s food and I was allergic to whatever is in Hit...
Read moreWhere to begin. I live out of town and usually visit the area twice a year. Me and my family have been coming here since before they expanded, I would save over the 7-10 years. Unfortunately the food offerings and quality have declined since they expanded. For me coming from LA it was a healthy, safe place, one i could even pick up vitamins and nutrition if needed. Over the years even their delicious staples, veggie fried rice and chkn marsala, have suffered. If i ordered veggie fried rice i would have to request less oil, b/c the cooks has transformed it into something else. Even the look of the food in the hot/cold case started looking unappetizing. I was told today that no more food will be offered in the hot counter - not sure why, but the entire flavor and feel of FFT has been lost and its a crying shame b/c it was a worthy staple and now i feel like its a hit or miss. even the "healthy" shakes are hit or miss! maybe scale back in space and overhead and get back to your winning ways b/c now it looks like you're down by 25 pts in the 4th quarter...
