Gateway Bagels & Deli — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

Gateway Bagels is now available across the country via everywherebagels.com. We got a shipment of several bagels. It arrived overnight and the bagels were still fresh. The bagels are huge, which is satisfying for those with big appetites and also is a great ratio of outside crunch (when toasted) to the chewier interior.

I've shared these bagels with friends, too! A friend who is typically sensitive to gluten LOVED hers and fondly asks for more whenever we get them. And they are a hit with the toddler crowd.

Highly recommend, wherever you live! A genuine NY bagel made by hand, shipped fresh....

Spent 19 bucks on miscellaneous stuff still insisted on charging me an extra quarter each to slice 2 of the bagels. Bagels not very good very little flavor texture more like bread than bagel. When I walked in counter person was gutting out someone's bagel without gloves. Once she noticed I was watching she put glove on. 3 people working behind counter no other customers at counter they were more engaged in a dialogue about one of there lives carefully listening to each other to the point you felt you were interrupting. Needed a quick breakfast by the train station, ordered online and my sandwich was ready in 5 minutes!

I got ham egg and cheese on a bagel with an iced coffee, both of which were absolutely delicious. They were a LITTLE stingy with the ham but it’s whatever, the sandwich as a whole was great and that’s all that matters. The bagel was SO fresh too!
