After being loyal customers for quite some time and ordering the same dozen raw clams every time, we were shocked by how we were treated on our last visit. One clam was clearly bad, and one has a strange unusual color and when we politely sent it back and even offered to pay for 1/2 dozen instead of dozen (because clearly after biting into a bad clam you just canât eat anything else after) the manager Anthony came out yelling, holding the food in my friendâs face, trying to prove it wasnât spoiled. Smelling the clam (she literally just spit back out because it was bad) , then trying to proof the discoloration is natural âŚ. It was loud, embarrassing, and completely unprofessional. We get same order on raw clams every single time not once we had a bad clam or clam or a weird bright yellow color. As manager even if discoloration is natural occurrence you know you are serving food and presentation is everything. If you clearly see the color of one clam is VERY off due to discoloration - DONT put it on customers plate! How much that one clam possibly can cost you?! Just get rid of it or eat it yourself if you are so sure itâs âgoodâ.
We were so embarrassed of his behavior we asked to wrap our entrees to go and left the restaurant.
Over one clam, they chose to treat us with zero respect and in doing so, they lost our business for good. Good food doesnât excuse terrible...
   Read moreWe ordered Take out and was very disappointed. The Warm lobster roll Was tough, overcooked and like rubber. The Calamari was undercooked and I had to put in the oven to finish cooking It. The whole lobster dinner was ok. I tried calling as soon as the food was opened to tell them about the lobster roll and the calamari but they must Have closed 10-15 minutes early. I left the message on their answering machine but no one called me back. This was on a Sunday. They are closed the next day which is Monday. As with most people life is crazy and I could not call them again until Thursday. They never bothered to Return my phone call. When I spoke to the manager she was not very nice. Argued with me that she couldn't believe the calamari would be undercooked or that the lobster would be overcooked. Would not do anything to compensate. Claimed she never got my message. Very poor management and customer service. She hung up on me which is totally Inappropriate. We have dined in before and to be honest the food was never anything to rave about. Will not return or recommend this restaurant. Save your money and go somewhere that cares about their food...
   Read moreAs the fish was fresh but dressing was too bland Iâve had a mango dressing before that had much more taste than the one I had here when I was asked how everything was as I was paying , I started to mention this and was rudely cut off as if I was totally unimportant. I donât know if she was the owner, but she was extremely rude and then when she finished addressing another customer, I said as I was saying, and then she said oh but mango dressings are like this . Iâve worked in many restaurants and eaten in many expensive restaurants and theyâve had mango dressing which were way more flavorful then one you served. Iâm sorry that you canât take feedback . It was my second time to the restaurant. The first time I wasnât impressed but thought I try again.as itâs close to where I live . Unfortunately was disappointed. I will never be returning . . Sangria had too much fruit & very little liquor for the price but good luck . Uncle Giuseppeâs mango dressing taste...
