IHOP — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

If you have a hankering for breakfast food during breakfast time or lunch time or even around dinner you know that IHOP is the place to go. But which one, if you just happen to be in Nassau County, Long Island? My suggestion is the Oceanside location, store number 4628.

The cooks are spot on, everything tastes fresh and well prepared, the place is clean, and the customer service is incredible. All of servers work very hard but our experience was made that much better by Erick (and his luxuriant beard peeking out from his clean and regulated mask) who had the right balance of checking up on us and leaving us to enjoy our meal. We never felt rushed or like we were a burden on the servers and establishment, like we've felt at other IHOP locations west of the Oceanside store, who because I'm classy, I won't name (it rhymes with "bally's team") here. We also had the pleasure of speaking with Daniel, the Manager, who came out and received our laudatory remarks about Erick, as a professional leader should. He was also very personable and you could tell he does a good job with his staff and the customers.

So, if you're on Long Island with the taste for IHOP and a good dining experience, go out of your way to get to the one...

Their hospitality really shone through, turning a simple meal into an experience that was as much about feeling valued and cared for as it was about the delicious food.

I came here on a Friday with my son and boyfriend. We were seated right away which was great. We then noticed that we were only given 1 menu. As we looked on, our waiter came right away asking drink choices and rushed off. We noticed that one of the bus boys kept sneezing as he walked past several times, without covering his face properly, and another kept shouting over our heads at the waitresses, joking with them. We got our orange juice and ordered. I then asked to switch my son and my juice as it was too much pulp and she only bought back one apple juice to switch. I had to ask her for another again. Then half of our meals came out quick but we had to ask for another set of utensils as we were only given Two sets ... so this meant me flagging down our waitress again... she seemed bothered by this time. I choice to ask another waitress for ketchup for my meal because I was a bit uncomfortable by this time. We probably where in there for 40 min tops ... this is how rushed our...
