E Magine Toys — Local services in Town of Hempstead

I’m absolutely shocked after reading the reviews posted about this store because to be completely honest, I HAVE NEVER, in my my 36 years on this earth been MORE DISRESPECTED and had such an UNPLEASANT experience. I’ve NEVER been talked to so DISRESPECTFULY by someone so much younger then me in my life. The two girls were so rude when my girlfriend and I walked in with her niece looking for a “skip it”. I was asked what we were looking for and I replied, we’re looking for a skip it. The smug 20 something year old replied, “umm no we don’t carry that, I’ve never even heard of that. Maybe if you tried explaining to me what it did it would be helpful.” I simply replied, “it’s a skip it, it goes around your ankle and had a ball on the end and you “skip it” around when you jump.” I even did a little demonstration to show them what it would do. They proceeded to say, “nope, never heard of that, sorry” in their smug and arrogant tone while looking at me with a dumbfounded look on their faces. We proceed to let our niece look around the store for something else with absolutely no interaction from the two pleasant store workers. She picked something else out and we went to check out. The girl asked, is that all you want and asked if I was paying cash or card. We checked out and I replied as usual, thank you, have a wonderful day. I received no response. Then I replied as we were walking out, thank you, have a great day! Still no response. I replied one last time, even louder then the first two, THANK YOU, have a great day! Still nothing. I can only imagine how disrespectful these two girl outside their place of employment. I read the comments others have posted and I’m so disappointed I wasn’t able to experience the pleasant experience and good service provided by the owner. I’m a small business owner myself and love to support small businesses whenever possible, especially in these times of poor economic growth and recovery due to our extremely “ competent and ambitious” White House leadership. Nevertheless, I’m so disappointed and I will never shop there again or recommend this place to anyone witch is really sad because small business is the back bone or...

Incredibly rude store owner. Ebrahaim Ganjain you owe me an apology. Came in here to browse some toys for my kids. Prices are way overpriced. My son misplaced some toys I put them back where they were and the store owner came out - came directly to my face and threatened to call the police on me. I left he kept following me and my two children to my car - put his finger at me and started cursing. Disgusting human being not only did you just offend your own Jewish person but you harassed me while I was alone with two little kids.
