Inatome's HibachiBachi — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

So im going to say I am blown away. I had spent over $200 my first time here. I ordered for the group of 14 so we were more than happy with the price. Upon first entering the design is beautiful to say the least. The girl who came from the back to take my order was nice and recommended a lot to me and explained it all very well. She also let me try the sauces to see which ginger I liked. Im glad she insisted because I had chosen the wrong one originally. I love the extra mile. The other girl seemed too shy to welcome me I believe she is the probably the owners daughter. After waiting for the order I spoke with a Japanese man I believe was the head chef, Wolter. We saw the same big hibachi fire as we do when we have our company dinners in Valley Stream. It was a great experience. Wolter had explained to us how the takeout had came to be and how innovative everything is there, whether it'd be the beautifully cooked light and fluffy fried rice buns he made fresh or the bowls he watched closely and made carefully all while putting on a show. As my coworkers said, we decided to try it because it had the right "vibes." It was a five out of five star experience all around from the passionate and loving staff to the delicious and flavorful food which is also healthy. The only thing I'd say to improve is maybe more affordable value items like a five dollar small lunch or snack option. Also I'd like to see different drink options. Most people are allergic to milk and I think a simpler drink list would be better. More asian canned drinks or even normal sweet tea would have been a great addition. I ordered from Uber Eats and the order arrived warm and presentable so I was excited for a delicious lunch. I did order a side of yummy yummy sauce and it wasn’t delivered but Uber refunded it, whatever I’ll dig in without dip. I started with the salad, I ordered this for $2 extra because it’s usually my favorite part of the hibachi meal. This time I was super disappointed, the dressing was very sour and salty, the lettuce and vegetables were good quality though. Okay, I push the salad aside and decide to have the main course, steak and chicken combo with fried rice. Everything tastes very good except for the chicken that is a bit dry so I grab the teriyaki sauce and hope it’ll help. I dipped my finger in and it is ridiculously salty, I’ve never had teriyaki sauce like this in my life. All in all maybe one day I’ll give this place another chance but for now I’ll be ordering from somewhere else because it’s not fun to spend $35 on lunch and then...

Hugely disappointed!! They were completely overwhelmed and the food wasn't really good. We were told food would be ready in 30 minutes and it took over an hour. I watched people walk out in frustration. We ordered a hamburger, chicken burger, shakes, and the hibachi bowl. The burger was undercooked for what we asked. Even with sauces they were flavorless and the fries were overcooked. As for the bowl, it was pretty good. The shakes were just horrible. We added ice cream when we got home to add thickness and flavor. The ideas are great but just...
