I would have given 3.5 stars if that was an option. As a cafe this place deserves four stars. The food is above average in an area crowded by sub par dairy cafes. Definitely some of the best food in its category in the neighborhood (I highly recomend the impossible burger and the salmon bowl). Prices are on the higher side for this kind of food but not ridiculous.
As a play place though, the place is seriously lacking. Its $12 for one hour of play, regardless of if you purchase food, and there really isn't much to do. Any kid above the age of four is likely to get bored rather quickly. A younger child may have a better time, but the average play room or kids room at home is likely to have the same amenities. If say, kids can play free with a purchase of $40 in food or the price of play alone was closer to $7 or $8 I would probably give a five...

How did she already forget that we had just checked in for an hour of play. I felt so uncomfortable that I just wanted the hour to go...
