ย ย ย Read moreI recently had catering done for my daughterโs first birthday by upper crust (not sure which location) - but it was a compete disaster and Iโd like to warn anyone if they wish to deal with them in the future. Iโm a return catering customer, they did my baby shower last year. Last time, JJ was the catering manager and he was very welcoming, very sweet to deal with - I had zero problems and everything was perfect. This time I dealt with Emma - the new catering manager. She was very hostile from the beginning, she didnโt have much customer service experience. They upped the prices but lowered the amount of stuff included - someone make that make sense? ๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ I asked multiple times that everything will be checked and I will have enough of everything we need. I specifically requested that my catering order doesnโt arrive later than 12 because my party starts at 1. My catering order didnโt arrive till 1:15. My guests had arrived and were sitting with no food in the chafing dishes. Once we open everything, thereโs no cups included. They cheaped out on plates, on forks, on knives, on spoons. I call in a panic because I have a million drinks and no cups - Emma says she checked the order, it has to be there. She doesnโt once apologize that the order was soooo late - she should have made sure it arrived on time, if not early. She tells me that everything should be enough and she will refund me for the missing cups - I never received nothing. No apology for the bad service, for the late delivery, nothing. And the icing on the cake is half of my guests got severe stomach aches - would not recommend and will never dine again. Upper crust...

The food itself was excellent but the service was subpar. It took a while after we all closed are menus for our order to be taken. I asked that the food come out all at once (so that we can eat together instead of in stages or waiting for others while our food gets cold). We were told it'll come out when it's ready. And that's exactly what happened. But when they brought the food out, they didn't seem to know who to place it in front of so they just put it wherever there was room. Additionally, my son (who was the whole reason we were there) ordered something specific from the menu (that Uppercrust has but other Dairy places don't), and halfway through putting all the food out, told him they didn't have it. Had others not gotten there food yet, we probably would've left. Additionally, they forgot my husband's order and brought it to him when everyone was almost done. No one came to ask how we were enjoying, we had to flag our waiter (and other waiters) down to order dessert which took a long long time, and took even longer to eventually pay. Food was great but I honestly can't say I'll be back...
