Worst experience at the Golden Arches in over three decades of loyalty. I visited this location on a Thursday afternoon at 2. I originally planned to use the drive thru. Unfortunately the line was extremely long and in disarray. A McDonalds tractor trailer was making deliveries impeding everyone. Why they would be recieving deliveries at lunch time bewildered me. Being a loyal customer I decided to park and go inside. Upon entering I noticed there was no line. Now I'm not racist, I have every race married into my extended family. I'm only describing so you can avoid these incompetent individuals. There was a young Hispanic woman with fake blonde hair at the counter. I approached and inquired about McDonald's new chicken strips, the glazed ones. She had no clue what I was talking about about. I placed an order for 3 chicken strip meals and 3 milkshakes totaling over 30 dollars. At this point I was not even disappointed. The Hispanic woman then proceeds to had me 3 empty cups. I looked at her and said I ordered milkshakes. She then realized her mistake. Now my order finally gets called by an older African American woman with a short ponytail. She hands me my order. I took my two bags and saw 3 fries in one bag and the other had boxes of chicken strips. I drove all the way home and distributed the food to my family. Unfortunately I was missing an order of chicken strips. I became slightly agitated at this point. I drove all the way back expecting excellent customer service, a quick apology and my strips. Now here is where my frustration rose to an unnecessary level. Upon entering there was one customer at the counter, I approached the fake blonde Hispanic woman and she didn't even acknowledge me. I waited for the person to pay and received an expression of bewilderment from the woman. I handed her my receipt and said I didn't receive an order of chicken strips. She stared blankly at the receipt for minutes then started to talk her coworkers. They all had no clue. Now the short ponytailed African American woman accosted me with "your supposed to check your bag." Here's were I lost it. I replied its your job. She said I just handed you the bags. I responded with you didn't give me an order of chicken strips. The employees bicker for minutes more while the Hispanic woman tries to hand me back my receipt. I said I don't want that I just want my strips that I already paid for. It is also important to note that there was a Caucasian Male manager with a short cut there from my initial ordering to my return. He was on his phone behind the counter inquiring about car parts. I finally got my strips and was out of that nightmarish experience. Don't waste your time or money at this McDonald's. There is a better McDonald's right on Front Street in Uniondale that's been serving the area decades before this one even opened. It's a few blocks down.
