We ordered takeout from this new Vietnamese restaurant, and while the food was genuinely delicious, there were a few significant drawbacks that affected our experience. Soup Variety Issue: Despite the menu’s claims, all the soups tasted the same. For instance, the “king” soup, advertised as spicy, lacked any distinct heat or variation from the other options. This was disappointing, especially for those looking forward to trying different flavors. Ignored Special Requests: We included a few specific requests with our takeout order, but these were completely overlooked. It was frustrating that our comments were ignored, as it impacted the overall experience.

Given these issues, I’m giving this restaurant 3 stars. The food was excellent, but the lack of soup variety and attention to special requests need...

I'm so happy Pho Ye is here! I've been craving Vietnamese cuisine since I moved to Oceanside five years ago, and Pho Ye really hits the spot! On my first visit, I tried the Classic Banh Mi and the Pho King, and both were AMAZING. Today, I tried one of the Rice Vermicelli Salads (Grilled Chicken), the Pork Bun, and the Shrimp Summer Roll. Everything was so delicious! The peanut sauce with the summer roll is out of this world. The portions are great, too! The food at Pho Ye is skillfully prepared, made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and the people are so friendly and nice. I can't wait to taste my way through this...

This is my new favorite spot for Pho on the island. The broth is perfect!! Very well balanced. And the grilled chicken banh mi is absolutely incredible. My only complaint is that they do not give jalapenos with your order. Still 5 stars!!! Edit. They do have jalapenos, you just have to ask so now I'm even happier with this place.
