Very unimpressed with the overall experience. My girlfriend and I attended on a Friday night. The first red flag was that we were literally the only 2 people in the entire restaurant. When we were seated, the table at the bar was dirty. I moved my seat because of this, but the server did not seem to realize it was dirty or make an attempt to clean up the area.
As far as the food goes, it took over 30 minutes to prepare the salmon. For that amount of time, both the salmon and rice and peas had no flavor. The spinach that my girlfriend ordered was excessively salty. For the cost of the drinks (ranged from $17 to $23), the size is basically a 12 oz can. We each got 1 drink, and those ended up costing almost 40$.
Finally, the bill was the most severe issue. The prices on the menu that is provided are incorrect; the Salmon on the menu is priced at $28, yet on the bill, the price is listed as $33.30. The drink prices were also incorrect based on what's on the menu. The biggest issue is that a 20% gratuity is automatically applied to the bill, even for a dinner for 2!
Perhaps the brunch is worth coming here, but the dinner is a very poor experience.
EDIT: As far as your response goes, I literally have no idea what you are talking about. I do not live nor work in Long Island. The fact that you have to respond to multiple people ad suggest that many different people are fake pages suggests that your service is extremely poor. If this many people who seemingly don't know each other are critical of your restaurant experience, then it is more likely that you ae doing a poor job. Take the criticism from multiple people and try...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis establishment is a absolutely beautiful! I visited and enjoyed the ambiance and foods a few weeks ago. Due to the amazing first class welcome and treatment my family and I received, I decided to return again this past weekend, on Saturday September 17th, with friends and family. During my initial visit Michelle provided immaculate services. Her cultural insight served to create a memorable experience for us. Thank you Michelle, immensely. During our most recent visit on September 17th, we anticipated Michelle providing us services, but was approached by another waiter, who was very kind. However, she was not knowledgeable of the cultural dishes, escovich fish, which contributed to my family and friends being served an incorrect order. While we did not create an issue of the matter, the waiters lack of insight did impact our experience in a way we did not plan or appreciate. I would have loved to rate my experience at 5 stars, because it is wonderful establishment, and Michelle provides an experience to remember. I do encourage all those considering this establishment to visit! You all would love it for sure. Again, thank you Platinum Cuisine for coming into the community. Michelle, we...
Ā Ā Ā Read morePlatinum Cuisine was a pleasant experience. From the looks of it, it seems like a restaurant. From the outside, this building looks different from the other businesses on the Woodcleft Avenue strip. It was different because it was taller with a contemporary look. Platinum Cuisine was visible to viewers moving in regular traffic.Ā I just wanted to let you know that thereĀ is no parking provided. Parking is available in front of the business but is very limited. However, municipal parking is a large paid parking lot two blocks down the street. Upon entering, I saw a staircase leading to the second floor. Our staff holiday party took place on the second floor. On the first floor, it was a typical restaurant set up with chairs, tables, and a bar. A ramp leading to the main entrance and an elevator inside the main lobby were available to access the other floors. The second floor had the same restaurant set up with chairs, tables, a bar, a flatscreen TV, and an ample open space for dancing, which we did. It seems like a business for different venues, and the setup may be flexible to suit the patron's renting and catering needs. The food...
