Red Label Coffee Co. — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

Went in for the first time a week ago after hearing great things from friends and seen on instagram. i ordered one of the specialty drinks posted on their instagram for February and the two women at the counter were confused and immediately agitated. I showed them the post that said what was in it and she kept saying “no one told us they were up” to which i said “it’s not a problem! it’s not your fault no one told you”. the other woman kept complaining and i told her the post has only been up for an hour if that makes them feel any better. she then started saying “yeah but doesn’t it say vote for your favorite?” which it didn’t it just was a posting of the new specials. coffee came out with an eye roll, got to my car and tasted it. burnt. even with milk, sugar, and three flavors in it it’s burnt iced coffee. i would have asked them to remake it but i feel like that would have caused another issue. i don’t care if management messed up and didn’t relay a message. it’s not my fault, i shouldn’t be the one catching attitude and a burnt...

One of my favorite hobbies is visiting local coffee shops in neighborhoods.

Heavenly Coffee is small and cozy but can be confusing on who already ordered coffee and who is waiting for their coffee order.

I was not greeted by any employee but noticed that whomever was a regular customer received greetings from one or more employees.

It seemed I came at a ‘busy’ time because my order managed to be the last one to be fulfilled when customers who ordered after me were long gone and I was the last customer remaining. My order was simple, not one of their many complicated concoctions that they offer.

The manager, owner whomever she was said it’d be another minute she was making my drinks now (15min after I placed my order).

The main reason I visited Heavenly Coffee was for the coffee, I would rate a 4 but as for customer service and experience...

Unprofessional and no customer service skills, while I waited for my coffee (Dark headed women was talking derogatory to another employee about a customer who was taking some time to place his order) lets not forget why your coffee store exists in the first place (customers). You feel as if they are better and your time is not as valuable as their time. I witnessed several other people walk in the shop and the front ladies would say hello to one and ignore another? Enough said, this place is Unprofessional and most certainly lacks customer service.

Will never go back to this shop. You feel as if you are imposing when you walk in the shop, nothing warm or inviting...
