Village Convenience Store — Local services in Town of Hempstead

The Village Convenience Deli is the best little grocery store in the area. The proprietor is very friendly and helpful. During the LOCKDOWN I only thought to go to the 7-11 north of my apartment building. I totally forgot about THIS deli also about 3 blocks away. I could kick myself. This store has many varied and brand-named items not like 7-11. 7-11 has the worse bread and English muffins not brand names like Arnold or Pepperidge Farm or Thomas. Village Deli also has many things I needed during the lockdown like spices , vanilla, chicken broth that I had to do without. Their prices are also much better than 7-11 akin to grocery store prices.
