Shogun Hibachi Asian Cuisine — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

The food was good and the hibachi chef was very nice and funny. The waitress on the other hand was extremely rude. Not friendly whatsoever and made us uncomfortable.. almost made 2 kids at our table cry because she wasn’t letting us order what we wanted. She kept insisting we get meat with our hibachi. We went in for sushi only, not hibachi. We were seated on the dining side, which was poorly lit (but sometimes places do it for dinner ambience). The very first table looked like a storage closet for cleaning supplies and jackets. There was also a dolly full of dirty dish bins. Surely not a profesional look for an eating establishment. The sushi was just ok, the rolls were messily wrapped. We ordered sake and the glassware used was shot glasses. I would not recommend this establishment for sushi/dining...

I honestly can't believe how bad my experience was at shogun hibiachi Asian cuisine. From the moment I walked in, things felt off. The host seemed completely disinterested, almost like we were an inconvenience. We were seated at a table and we were served a chewed up lemon with attitude so we decided to leave.
