Evolution Cards & Collectibles — Local services in Town of Hempstead

I recently came across my old collection of Pokémon cards and decided to bring them to this store to see what they were worth. I did a little research beforehand, but it was a little overwhelming so I decided to bring the cards into a store and see what I could learn. The employee behind the counter could not have been nicer or more welcoming, they were easy to talk to and really made me feel at home. They took their time and meticulously went through all of my collection looking up cards that they thought were valuable and the entire way keeping me informed on how they do their homework and how they come up with their pricing. In the meantime, I looked around the store and they had a great selection. Some of the items I had no idea what they were and others reminded me of things I had when I was younger and they brought back good memories. When the employee was done looking at my cards he offered me a number which I immediately accepted because it sounded very fair and he kept me informed along the way so I knew what I was getting into. We did a combination deal of cash and store credit and I will definitely be back here with gaming or card related needs in the future. I recently visited Evolution, and I can’t say enough good things about this place! It’s a paradise for anyone into sports cards, Pokémon cards, or just hobbies in general. The selection is absolutely incredible—rows of pristine packs, rare singles, and even some hard-to-find vintage cards. Whether you’re a collector or just starting out, they’ve got something for everyone.

The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable.They clearly love what they do, and it shows in how they keep the shop organized and welcoming. The vibe is perfect too—clean, bright, and packed with fellow enthusiasts trading and chatting.

If you’re into cards or just want a fun spot to geek out, Evolution is a must-visit. Five stars all the way—can’t wait...

Just attended trade night here and I have to say, absolutely blown away by the friendliness of the entire staff. Matt, Frank, Sal, and every other member of their team, big time shoutout to you all. Our area has been long overdue for a local card shop that does all sports (not just the major 4) and pokemon. You all have absolutely nailed it. If you haven’t been down to their shop, you’re missing out. Awesome awesome experience, can’t wait to bring my own kiddos next time and see the crew again!...
