Spoons Ice Cream & Cereal Bar — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

After coming here for the past few years I have to say tonight was the first time I was truly disappointed. The employees have horrible energy and are very rude to the customers. I waited online with my friends for over 20 mins after an hour drive. I felt embarrassed for bringing my friends here, and it is definitely my last. When one of the girls who appeared to be of a supervisor status told the employees they were being obnoxious and to stop because customers were complaining, the girl said I don’t care they can go home. After ordering and waiting another 10 minutes the girl forgot my order, and my cousins milkshake was as thin as water. Not to mention the cups are filthy and my boyfriends shake had plastic in it. I am very disappointed and will not be going back. Something needs to be done about this...

The most unprofessional and unsatisfying ice cream place you can attend. The service left me appalled as the workers were downright rude to each customer. When the manager told them to stop fooling around, the employee replied “I don’t care if the customers don’t like it they can go home.” Besides the rude Saturday night staff, the over priced milk shake someone in my party ordered was left with a piece of plastic in it. I’ve been going to spoons with my girlfriend for about a year and a half now and I believe spoons is on its downfall last year it was phenomenal had nothing but positive things this year lines are extremely long service is so slow constantly hear the kids in the shop gossiping instead of working, Then we get Soupie ice cream for 20 dollars for 2 cups of Ice cream! Extremely overpriced to deliver something that’s melted as soon as it goes from employee to customer. It’s just upsetting I really love this place but lately it’s not worth it for me...
