The General — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

The Union at Eisenhower Park’s Lannin did not disappoint last night. We were a table of 8 and everyone had a truly delicious meal and great experience. Our waitress, Irene, was friendly and professional. Is actually request to sit at her table on my next visit. The owner stopped by several times to check on us with a genuine smile. The chairs are absolutely comfortable. I found the noise level a bit strong but they have done a beautiful job of using very high end sound proof material in the gorgeous coffered ceilings. We shared apps of meatballs, pizza’s, short rib tacos, and roasted Brussels sprouts with slivered almonds and a delicious sauce. I ordered the pork chop with cherry peppers and artichoke hearts.
