Visited at the end of April and had a picnic under the cherry blossoms in full bloom. There are a bunch of grills in the area and a little playground here too. A short walk to the lake. Feels like an underrated part of Eisenhower Park. Park your near the aquatic center/trapezes off Merrick Ave.

Visited today to do a picnic with friends but the park set aside the whole benches. We had to sit on grass and couldn't do barbeque since there was no tables but the park itself is great.

Nice area of the park. Took my son to the playground...two different play areas for the kids to have fun. They are small but still fun for the kids...
