Went to see DJ Theo and Dj Steve Aoki for a free Concert / Performance at this Theatre. No chairs allowed, just blankets. I think food can be brought in but unopened drinks had to be in visibly sealed containers. Any bottles that were opened and had liquids couldn't be brought in. Security and police everywhere in the park. Got there 30 min before the start and parking was plenty. Alot of good space for this event but quickly got filled up as the night went on. Supposedly 30k showed up but couldn't tell for sure. Although, it was definitely crowded throughout the night. But there were no issues whatsoever from my perspective. We had a good time there and hopefully more of these events will happen in the future. Driving out of the park at the end of the night was challenging. Excellent sound from their improved PA System and video screens are a vast improvement from years past. The park actually provides an overspill field with a huge screen and PA speakers for those who can’t fit in the main field. Lawn chairs are permitted, but pop up tents are not allowed. Close to Merrick Road, Hempstead Turnpike, and the Meadowbrook Parkway. You have to bring your own chair or blanket to sit on. People are smoking even though they're not supposed to.
