The staff/management does not ensure customers are behaving like civil people and allow wild behavior from some, degrading the dining experience of those around them. A group of unruly teens came in halfway through our meal and made so much noise the 5 minutes they were waiting for their table I couldn't believe they weren't spoken to or asked to leave. The party of 6 was seated next to my table with my 70 year old parents and 6 year old daughter. They screamed, banged tables, made a general commotion, yelled curses at one another, abused the free samples and shamefully and loudly criticized the "useless" staff because they took too long with free ice cream samples. I was on the verge of screaming at the entire table but it isn't my place. It is the restaurant's responsibility to maintain a comfortable and respectful atmosphere, and instead of standing up to a group of loudmouth spoiled Bellmore teens, they took a completely hands off approach to a situation that made not just my table, but surrounding tables, visibly bothered and uncomfortable. When my mother asked the waitress what she does to stop that type of wild behavior she said she tries to ignore it so "they don't get the attention they're looking for." The staff at International Delight Cafe does not maintain a comfortable eating space. Added bonus, the busboy that night slammed every metal chair he pushed in into the metal table stand, so loud, abrupt clanging metal on metal sounds added to the general ambiance of obnoxious noise. The food was good, the waitress was ok, but the behavior allowed in the dining area ruined the...

One word for this place: DISTASTEFUL. Me and my friend decided to come here for dinner. She’s heard great reviews about this place online. Boy, that was a mistake. I ordered the sliders in which I specifically told them i wanted well done. It wasn’t well and it wasn’t done. It was definitely pink in the middle. I didn’t even finish them. They had no flavor and the buns were extremely greasy. I ordered a seltzer water and they charge me $4 for a cup full of ice. There was barely any seltzer in there. What is that about !?!! My friend on the other hand ordered chicken fingers and french fries. The chicken fingers were ok but her french fries sucked. They were soggy and distasteful. The owner was not nice at all as we made a complaint to our server (in which she forgot when we asked for certain items for the table and rushed us during our dining experience). The owner mocked my friend as he asked her what was wrong with her fries and made us feel silly and uncomfortable. Well let me tell ya, not professional at all. The only accept Cash or Venmo. One of the waitresses came up to our table and told us to hurry up with our food because they were closing and to handle the check. So we asked her where do we venmo and she gave us a snarky remark “I don’t know how to do that” and walked away from us. Horrible service. Horrible food. Only come for the dessert....
