Lunchbox Brewing Company — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

After several visits I have this to say: Too many kids. It’s a liability. All children should have to leave by 7pm. What happens when one of them is hurt because someone drinking in a BAR not a play place trips on them or knocks into one of them? I think they are letting kids here because they think would lose business, however they are not catering to a single couples without kids crowd that’s there and favoring the families. There’s not even real food here just a food truck. So I’m not understanding why the laws have been bypassed here. They should also be carding everyone. The place also smelled like stale beer on a Friday night. The smell was so nauseating we stopped after two beers the last time.

Also the bar is terrible. They pick and choose who to serve. Thinking also you should serve the singles and couples without kids( you will probably get a better tip) than dads who want to drink holding their toddlers first. Absolutely no kids should be near a bar anyway. Please fix this. Because once those kids are older the parents using you for the space to drink and get babysitting will stop coming and you will have alienated so many other prospective long term patrons that...

The beer selection is fantastic—whether you’re into IPAs, stouts, sours, or something more experimental, there’s always something new and exciting on tap. You can tell everything is crafted with care and attention to detail. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, always happy to make recommendations or talk beer.

Great start to a brand new brewery in the area. Super close to get to by train as well which is a plus!! (we came in from Suffolk county :) ) All of the beers are delicious and did not disappoint! Looking forward to some of their upcoming interchangeable beers as well. Flights come in a great lunchbox (which is also available for purchase with their merch for those brewery merch customers!) We sat at the high top table closest to the back of the brewery and were comfortable in our area. Love that they have rotating food trucks (note to self : if you’re there on the pizza night it is made to order and oven baked so you may have to wait longer than 2-5minutes but def. Worth the wait- the guys who run the pizza truck are super chill and accommodating as well) love the TVs for all the sports games as well! Will be back...
