Very unprofessional behavior. Went to Frankly Thai at 9:10pm on a Wednesday, 50 minutes before closing time. I drove 30 minutes to get there and was so excited because everyone said their food is delicious. When we got there, the doors were locked, so we checked the time and looked inside. There were a good amount of people seated. Finally, a lady (not too friendly) came and told us that we could only get take out. I asked why when the restaurant was still open? Mind you, I'm not the type to go to a restaurant 30 minutes before closing because I don't think it's courteous. We would have eaten our food and left promptly. She tried to say that they close the doors because it was almost closing time, but when I became assertive and stated that she still had 50 minutes, she said okay and tried to let us in. We refused. We didn't want poor service or tampered food so we took our business elsewhere, to a Caribbean restaurant, where it was appreciated. I'm sure that their food is excellent, however, I will frequent a place with a kind staff and average food more often than a place with excellent food and an ungrateful staff. Customers are the reason why your place is open so appreciate...

I liked this place until my last visit. Frank is usually very friendly and customer service oriented. I learned why his wife is in the kitchen and not with the customers. I ordered the fried ice cream which came out looking nice but as soon as u put your fork into it the ice cream is hard as a rock it was more like a hard cake than ice cream. We sent it back and it was still on the bill. The owner came out and refused to remove it from the bill stating that if it was her that made it wrong she would take it off but that this is how she always serves it. If thats how she always serves it then its always horrible. The ice cream isnt supposed to be like that and if a customer sends something back because they dont like it you are supposed to take it off the bill I have been to many places where something was not to my liking and they gladly removed it from the bill. They have lost a customer for $6; there are better thai places with better service. Too bad Frank wasnt there that day. Very disappointed in the...

The restaurant is very intimate and classy. When I walked in I was impressed until the waitress seated myself and my boyfriend in the very back of the restaurant with another biracial couple. As other guest showed up, the waitress segregated the restaurant seating all the colored people in the back near the window. The portions of food were very small for the prices on the menu and we were still very hungry after out meal. The food was tasty and well flavored but although I ordered jasmine rice, I was served plain white rice. I explained this discrepancy to the waiter. He tried to convince me that "jasmine rice does not taste different from white rice it smells different". I have cooked and have had jasmine rice at other restaurants! I know what plain white rice taste like and that is what they are serving as well as peas and carrots from the can, and iceberg lettuce! The quality and quantity of the food does not match the pricing. I was actually offended by the choice of...

Had to check out another Thai place as I had mistaken which day of the week our go to place was closed. That being said, was pleasantly surprised by the much nicer decor and service of this place and especially the food which was excellent. Started out with the Tom Yum soup which was perfectly flavored and appropriate spice level for me and my friend had the pancakes for which, unfortunately I could not have with the soy sauce due to my food limitations but was superbly flavored on its own. This was followed up with a red curry with shrimp for myself and my friend had the duck on the last page of the menu. She raved about it and I loved the consistency and flavoring of the curry sauce. For other gluten free folks, simply ask your server and they will steer you appropriately.

Made reservations for Saturday night. Ordered the Pad Se-ew with a side of Sweet Sticky Rice and Thai dumplings as an appetizer. The best authentic Thai food I have ever eaten and that includes a recent trip to Thailand this past year. I'm not a big fan of super spicy food, and this was right up my alley. My friends love spice and ordered the hot stuff. They were in heaven. Another friend ordered vegetarian and was very pleased. Host is welcoming and available to offer suggestions for those new to Thai food. This is a clean, friendly place with many food options, lots of parking, and a comfortable environment. You'll love the experience. Call for reservations.

The owner is very friendly and engages with his patrons. The server on the other hand made us feel rushed to order. We wanted to get the peaking duck, but there was none (go figure). We were not offered any condiments to go along with our food. We also felt as if the dumplings were over priced based on the size and quantity we received (they actually look very similar to the ones sold at Trader Joes). There were no extra napkins provided and the table top was bare minimum with nothing decorative on it. Lastly, they only offer the fried ice cream with vanilla and cannot be with any other flavor. This most likely means the fried ice cream is not made in house.
