I come here often and always a great experience, but today (9/29/17) was a totally different story. I was here the night prior with my moms buying lotsa stuff, as she always does. We were the last customers of the night and they were waiting for us so they can close up. When moms went to pay, she forgot her debit card. I had forgotten my wallet, so I was no help. So the supervisor/manager/owner guy tells me if I come back in the morning, he'll have the cart with all items already bagged ready with the receipt taped to it. All I had to do was come back in the morning, pay and go. So, in the morning I'm there first thing. I see the cart with the receipt and note taped to the bags. The older woman/cashier first says the receipt doesn't have a total on it and that she would have to ring everything all over again. I politely state that it would be easier to add up what the receipt shows, but noooooooooo......she starts unbagging and ringing away. I clearly remember the total from the register the night before was $86.14. Now, the total comes to $94.16. I explained to her the price difference and the something was obviously off. Her answer to me was......and I quote: "Listen I don't have time for this. You saw me ring everything, right? Either pay was it says or leave everything". So I left everything. Read moreToday I had a very bad experience in this place despite being one who frequented very often, I can understand your store policies but I will never be able to understand why you treat your customers so disgustingly, (my husband bought an air bed on Friday the bed was defective, we did not want to run the risk of changing it and that another one came out the same and unfortunately we did not find the receipt we had the charge in the bank account we tried to show it to which the registrar refused to see and tell us that she did not want to see anything if we did not have the receipt Of shopping and at that point he just wanted us to leave because he wanted to go home when there were 15 minutes left to close the place) I can only tell everyone to go to this place that I wish they run hopefully that the owner takes care of them since he is a very kind person who whenever he went with my children offered them sweets or is with a smile, and don’t have the bad luck that I had and meet his disgusting employees! (I for my part don’t need to go back, I lost my money since she only decided to change my bed without giving me more options and which doesn’t interest me because it’s possibly damaged too...
Read moreA good place to get furniture and decors from Costco, BJs or Sams Club at cheaper prices. I was lucky to get a packed piece of a convertible couch and a gaming chair which were in good quality. Apart from that I got a kitchen mat which was damaged and an area-rug which was improperly packed, so it lost some of the fur. The person assisting me, Danny, is a good chap and knows the store well. I got the things delivered to Mineola, which costed $50 and then they charged another 50 bucks for bringing the stuff upstairs through a simple elevator! I was hoping to pay $80 for the whole thing and they were expecting $80 only for moving it from parking spot to upstairs in an elevator, using a cart!! I ended up giving $100 for the whole delivery. I would take off one star for that absurd behavior. I had a good experience with the quality of the furniture, coffee machine and decors. Maybe I’ll visit the store again in future if I need any more things.
Lastly, be careful to inspect the stuff...
