I was provided the names of the staff by James, who stated he was the manager and he was also not helpful but even with his dry sarcasm and nonchalant attitude, was polite.
Krysti and Pamela, as well another older lady on the staff needs better training when a customer asks for an item they are unfamiliar with or is known by another name.
Pamela chose to yell into the mic and developed a much worse attitude when I asked to lower the volume because I couldn’t understand what she was saying. Pamela has a terrible attitude, which was not in line with the Wendy’s Corporation or their customer service. She seems very unhappy with her position at your establishment or perhaps additional training is required in such a high paced and popular location, which is very near to the UBS arena in Elmont.
Also, when I paid Krysti, she initially didn’t give me a receipt, which is standard procedure in all standard and ethical places of business. When I requested my proof of purchase, she rudely states that “I didn’t take your order”, which indicates she was fully aware that the interaction with her colleague was not appropriate. I asked Krysti for the name of the person who took my order and she was very rudely stated that “it’s none of your business” a few times and dismissed my request for the name of the individual by telling me to drive up. I stated it is my business because I need the name when I contact corporate to which she replied “corporate doesn’t give a sh*t”. I’m certain that Todd A. Penegor Wendy’s CEO and the rest of the Headquarters executive team would be shocked to learn this.
Allowing staff to act in a rude and aggressive manner to customers at work is certainly not up to Wendy’s corporate standards or their customer service. I understand the urge to defend colleagues but when they’re wrong, they’re wrong. For this late night crew along with James, the manager, to expect customers to accept this abhorrent treatment of customers by Wendy’s staff and not match the same rude, and disrespectful energy of their fellow colleagues bemuses me.
Also, when reviewing my receipt with my items, they charged me for deluxe items and provided the value meal product.
The Restaurant Support Center in Dublin, Ohio may put their hearts and minds together to support the restaurants, which is the heart of Wendy’s, but the staff at this establishment leaves much to be desired when it comes to a...
Read moreAs I was waiting for my food, I went fill my beverage cup. When I returned to the counter, I noticed a bag but did not know if it was my food or not. I called the employee working at the counter multiple times but she was more focused in her cell phone than the customers. She informed me that the bag was mine but after calling the employee multiple times, the bag was most likely sitting on the counter unattended for at least a total of 5 minutes. By then my fries were getting cold. I requested a replacement as I was holding the cold fries and the employee told me that they were not cold. While I was holding them. After taking the fries to replace them, the employee fabricated a statement she claimed I made to the chef complaining about the fries to make it seem like I am the one complaining about hot fries. Why would I complain about my fries if they were hot? The situation was escalating into an argument. I stopped the conversation and asked a different employee for condiments which I never received in the first place. None of this would have happened if the employee was not so focused on her phone. I should not have to call someone for help multiple times only to be ignored. To add insult to injury, all the other employees just ignored three situation and just looked at me in return. Not one single employee was concerned. I will not be returning to this location and if this is how the employees are treating customers, I DO NOT recommend this...
Read moreI went to Wendy’s this evening to get something quick to eat I proceeded to the drive thru. My meal came up to $12.16 I give the lady 1 $10 billl and 2 singles. Because the $10 was taped due to it being torn, she refused to take it. I asked for the manager. And she claims she is the manager.(Lucia) I was highly upset because that $10 was passed to me and I didn’t realize it was taped. But she claims she has so many $10 like that and she not taking it. Ok first off she was very unprofessional. Second, she is the so called manager and had her baby daughter behind there where the workers are working and selling food and the baby is crying for her. Was it bring your daughter to work day today? She should be ashamed of herself to have a little baby behind there with the heat and the food and crying. Spreading kids germs. She needs to be reprimanded for that. Forget that she wouldn’t take the $10. Just how someone gave it to me it will be recycled again, not worried about that. I am worried about the little baby girl that was crying for her mother and she was ignoring her and being nasty about taking the $10. If she would have went about things differently it would not have been a problem. I give her the...
