One positive - service is fast. Here are the negatives - the place is a mess, not clean, old, rundown, ok I can overlook that... but... staff is really gruff, not polite, don't make you feel like a customer. Then there is the real problem, the food. This is not Chinese food, I don't know what it is, but its not Chinese. Flavors are all off, presentation is off, actual dishes were totally wrong. We had some fried wontons, chicken with mushrooms, and sweet and sour chicken, along with some fried and plain rice. The fried rice was actually inedible, it had a chemically taste to it. The rest of the food either had a chemically after taste or no flavor at all, the sauces made no sense, there was more color than flavor, just really, really bad. We actually said "well, here is a place we'll for sure never...
Read moreI would give zero stars if I could. I went in with low expectations and was still disappointed. I ordered chicken with broccoli and vegetable soup. The mushy, sinewy,, greasy chicken was even lower quality than what you would nornally associate with "bad" Chinese food". If they didn't claim it was chicken, you wouldn't know what it was. I was inexplicably given 2 pieces of broccoli and a variety of other vegetables. The sauce had an unpleasantly strong fennel taste. The portion was also tiny for $15, which was a positive since it was that much less waste when I threw it away. The soup was so flavorless I actually added salt to it before noticing the peppers inside were black and spotty and discarding that as well. The best part of the meal was the white rice. I don't get why...

Edit: I wrote the first paragraph around 3 years ago and initially gave them 3 stars, but after today's experience, I have to review this review and give them 1 star. They've raised their prices, put less food in the order and actually managed to put less chicken in the sesame chicken. At least 80% of the sesame chicken was nothing but fried batter. I honestly don't know if there was even 2 ounces worth of chicken in my large order of sesame chicken. ...
