A wonderful new place in Rochester (might I add, a mother-daughter DUO!) serving absolutely delicious and authentic Korean yumminess! As a Queens NYC native, I have been DYING to find food with quality and flavor in the Rochester area, and am happy to say this is top-5-spot on my list! Item after item arrived at our table, leaving us astonished: extremely simple and fresh ingredients prepared with care to have bursting flavor (and at a perfect price-point!) Our table was impressed as we felt the restaurant offered more than just food, but an experience. The space is clean and comfortable; The family running the business was kind and inviting. It felt like being in someone’s home. Our table ordered the Korean-ade (which is sparkling water with freshly prepared real fruit purées), matcha lemonade, and a mint-chocolate espresso; beef bolgogi, Korean fried chicken and tofu, both in their house sweet n spicy sauce (so yummy!) served with traditional Korean banchans (side dishes—which are unlimited BTW!) Portions were very generous and we left more than satisfied. We visited for the soft grand-opening on the second day of business operations and whole-hearted hope they remain open for the long-haul. My group is excited to return and try more menu items. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

UPDATE: I've been back once a week since it opened. If I can't get that banana milk latte, I can't live! Original: Visited just a week after opening and it was fairly empty inside with no good reason because it was fantastic! Definitely might be a product if it being in the corner of the plaza and a little tucked away, maybe some additional signage outside could help. I stopped by on my way to the large game store nearby and the owner was super friendly and we chatted a bit. I got the banana milk latte which was BOMB, made with homemade banana milk, I'm excited to try the other drinks on my next visit because they have some good looking stuff on the menu. I got a fried tofu box (my fave dinners come in boxes so I can try lots of different things!) with the Dosi sauce which was great and not so spicy or garlicky that I was feeling it still hours later. Will be back for sure, definitely a contender for best Korean in the city, don't sit on this place!

Had a great experience here. Immediately after walking in, I was greeted by a very friendly gentleman. He explained, you place your order at the register, seat yourself with a provided stand with your order number, and your order gets brought to you. I decided to opt in for the Bulgogi DesiiRoc Box with an added fried egg. This box included the bulgogi beef, a couple sections of a Korean pancake, pickled radish, japchae, spicy cucumber salad, marinated bean sprouts and white rice. I found the portion size to be perfect. The bulgogi was flavourful alongside with everything else. The banchan were also great. As for her, she ordered a seafood pancake which is different from any Korean pancake I've had. Instead of being a very crispy batter all around, the consistency was bouncier and more mochi-like. This isn't a bad thing and is different but in a good way. Overall, a great experience and I would gladly return to try other items.

Hands-down best authentic Korean in Rochester. They have a lot of things that other restaurants in the area don't, including foods like gim mari (a favorite of mine), bibim naengmyeon, and Korean fried chicken, plus tons of drinks to choose from (lattes, fruit ades, and classic Korean drinks like sikhye).

They are in a soft open phase as I write this review and are staffed by just the mother and daughter team that owns the restaurant, so you may encounter wait times, but I promise it's worth it. The service was excellent and very friendly.

My friend and I got the bulgogi beef box, dolsot bibimbap, tteokbokki, gim mari, and peach ade. I also tried the sikhye (sweet rice drink, canned). The ades are so refreshing and made with handmade fruit mixtures. The bulgogi beef was so flavorful and perfectly cooked. Honestly, everything was delicious and I can't wait to come back and try more!

Editing on 8/12/25: I wanted to update my review to say that this place is still the best Korean in Rochester to me! I've had their yukgaejang (my favorite soup) and I felt like I was back in Seoul. They're available for take out and dine in, highly...

I recently visited this restaurant and tried a few of their dishes—the pajeon, bulgogi lunch box, and sundubu-jjigae—and I was blown away by how authentic everything tasted! The pajeon had just the right amount of crispiness with a perfectly balanced savory flavor that’s hard to find, even in Korea. The bulgogi lunch box was beautifully seasoned and had that deep, rich taste you’d expect from quality Korean BBQ. And the sundubu-jjigae? It was so comforting and flavorful, with a smooth, spicy broth that felt like a warm hug. Each dish felt like a real slice of Korea, which is such a rare find.

What I love most about this place is that they put a clear focus on fresh, quality ingredients. You can really taste the care they put into each dish. If you’re craving healthy, genuine Korean food that doesn’t compromise on flavor, I’d highly recommend coming here.

And for anyone who’s vegetarian, you’ll be happy to know that this place is very vegetarian-friendly! Many of their dishes can be adjusted to be vegetarian, so there’s something here for everyone. Whether you’re new to Korean food or a long-time fan, this spot is definitely worth...
