It was a lot of fun. Nick was a great instructor, keeping a group of people with variable degrees of art experience moving through a guided painting, bringing us all through to the end within the limits of the class time while maintaining a really chill, laid back atmosphere. Throughout the class, he did a great job engaging with us one on one and sharing advice and techniques to bring to where we were comfortable. I have some arts background but I don't frequent landscapes, and I've never painted water with acrylics, so I was impressed by Nick's ability to get me to a spot in a short time where I was pretty comfortable doing something new. I'd like to go back into the painting on my own, but still, impressed by what was accomplished in a short session.

Things were a bit hectic when we arrived. To be expected as we entered for our session early and two previous sessions were finishing up. Once we were checked in and seated the staff was able to catch up. The staff was awesome! Got our stations set up to paint. It was a full session so it took a few minutes to complete. Our painting instructor was great. Very informative and took the time to explain his techniques as he demonstrated each step. We are not painters but when it was over we had beautiful paintings to take home. Truly enjoyed the experience as a date night with my wife. Walked out satisfied and proud of what we were taking home! Highly recommend to couples, groups, or just someone that wants to try something new.

We took a painting class with Nick yesterday, and had a great time! He was an excellent instructor, guiding us step by step through the process, which made it easy to follow along and create pieces we're really proud of. The session was fun and the end result was awesome. The only downside was the stools – they were a bit uncomfortable, especially for anyone with back issues (like me!). I’d suggest they invest in chairs with better back support to make the experience even better. That said, I’d definitely go back again!

This was the 3rd time I had done this type of event at another location that closed but it was with my gal pals. This time I dragged my hubby after V-day was sold out before. It was a packed room lots of couples.

The positives: The studio was nice with lots of lovely paintings on the wall. Ample design choices (3). Scheduling easy. Price reasonable to create a memory together. Class started on time as it was already later 7pm and I know my husband wouldn't go beyond 9 pm. I loved the design we chose. The materials were ample.

The negatives: It was very rushed. (I could have come back to make corrections though). It was a way cozier that I would have liked. Many people were crammed in the room. We were stationed the furthest away from the instructor. Couldn't see the final picture design past all the heads. It should have been mounted high and in the middle so people in the back could see. Backed up to a tight wall with people getting up and down bumping me. The instructor was good. But she kept talking toward her painting and I often could not hear her. The was another class and they were doing glow in the dark paintings, but they accidentally scheduled them in the room without black lights. So, they kept coming in to turn off our lights to show them their paintings. I already felt rushed and that sort of set me off.

Overall, it was a good experience. I will do it again just not on a holiday or special occasion. I also wish there was one closer to home and with a...

So. What to say about this place. A lot of thoughts come to mind. First and foremost, if a private party of ten people book a "Class" and everyone in this "Class" knows one another why would it be distracting for someone in this groups 5 week old child to join in order to not be away from its mother? Seems to me that seeing as everyone in this "Class" knows each other quite well, almost like they are family or something like that, wouldn't be upset with a child "fussing" to the point of this mother and her 5 week old child to be kicked out of their PRIVATE "CLASS". Oh not to mention the 80+ year old grandmother not being allowed to join because she would also be a distraction?

What kind of business could justify policies like this? They are lucky they haven't been sued YET for this. A private paying party not allowing certain people there because they will distract the other people in the PRIVATELY PAID FOR PARTY.

Never will this company ever get a DIME out of this...
