Stopped by on Mother's day. There was no wait and the restaurant had seats available. Was not busy. Was greeted by our server in a timely manner and was given free popcorn. Unfortunately our order took 40+ minutes to come out and the server seemed to be fine with that. Server never addressed food talking long. Server seemed very unexperienced. Never said he was checking on it or anything. Had to look for server to check on our food, couldn't find him. Finally asked him about the food and he said it would be right out. I also observed other diners frustrated with how long it was taking. Food came out in around 5 minutes of him telling us that. My daughter's salad had no dressing. Also my daughters garlic bread came out on my plate. Server did say something about garlic bread but I did not understand him apparently and we had to wait to flag him down again to ask where her garlic bread was and to ask for dressing. He then said it's on your plate. Daughter couldn't finish her salad because of chewy chicken. Other food was OK. BBQ Salmon was cooked well but be aware it is pretty much just salmon with bottled BBQ sauce dumped on it. Son's chicken fingers were very good. Manager stopped by after our meal (obv. flagged by server) and I politely told him that the food took a long time and daughter couldn't finish her salad bc the chicken grossed her out/was chewy. She did eat around half of it, until getting to the chewy part. Manager said sorry about that and said he would mention the chicken to the kitchen. Manager did nothing to try to turn the situation around or remedy it. I was not looking for a free meal or anything but he could of comped the salad or offered my daughter a desert or something to show he cared. Did not get the feeling he cared at all. Any of that would of resulted in me not leaving a review. I have been coming to Tully's for over 20 years, though not often recently. This is the first time I can remember not having a good experience. I do not plan...
Read moreUnfortunately my most recent experience at Tully's on Jefferson Rd was a poor one. My waitress Liz messed up my order which should have been simple and straight forward (chicken wings, not breaded and well done). Well one of my relatives ordered the same thing I did and said "I want exactly what she (me) is ordering". Her order came out the way it was suppose to, my order came out with breading. My waitress didn't even apologize for her mistake, only offered to have the cook make a new batch of wings for me. However, it takes a while for well done wings to cook and everyone else in my party had their food come out already, so despite being unhappy with my order I just accepted the wings as they were. When the manager was coming around to see how everyone at the tables were doing I explained to him what happened with my order and to my surprise he did nothing about it, not even an apology, just proceeded to ask everyone else how they liked their meal instead. To top it off my waitress Liz had the nerve to charge me extra for bleu cheese (something that should have been included in the order of wings). Well I made sure that came out of HER tip. She is lucky I even left a tip. Needless to say I am one very dissatisfied costumer. I've also noticed that just a few weeks ago they made a few changes to their menu and have raised their prices. Their items during "happy hour" cost more now and they removed a few favorites and they no longer offer 'kids eat free on Wednesdays' anymore. My overall experience at this restaurant has been a poor one, I also don't like to feel like I am being nickeled and dimed. My personal observation and experience is that this place has very poor management. Why bother to go around to each table pretending like you care about your costumer's experience when you really...
Read moreCame in at 9 o’clock on a Monday evening. No one was at the pick up counter. Everyone was too preoccupied with watching A giveaway being done by the restaurant. The announcer was talking over the speakers, For some reason blasting at volume that made my ears ring. So I stood there for about four minutes before the person who was supposed to be in charge of the pick up counter decided to become disinterested in whatever giveaway was going on just enough to come give me the order I ordered. The most sarcastic “ Sorry” I’ve probably ever received. I don’t really know why it took for employees to facilitate this giveaway for the customers in the restaurant and by facilitate I mean stand around watching it but apparently it must’ve been super complicated. You would think someone would be dedicated to the pick up Counter separate The giveaway or whatever that was going on, but apparently not at Tullys. The food is When it’s Not cold, which mine was, but good Lord, the service is atrocious.
TLDR: Don’t bother with this place. Save yourself the time and money and go to Burger King and you’ll have a better experience and your food will be hot and that because it’s Burger King Who is not exactly known for their quality of product but in comparison to this place, you could call it five Star dining. It explains why they have a disclaimer that all sales are final because they know their product is garbage and they don’t want have to be responsible for refunding dissatisfied customers because I would imagine due to the frequency of this kind of occurrence, they be out of...
