THE THEATRICAL RELEASE... Ok, let me tell you, I could live in this store. The vast selection of home goods is fantastic. The prices are very reasonable on the greatest majority of things. Their seasonal stock changes with each new season so there are always new things to check out. The store is new and it has been well maintained and the shelves have always been tidy. The staff are friendly and not intrusive at all. There are plenty of staff around so if you need assistance you are not running the store to find someone. If you need that special something for your home, inside or outside, check out the great selection at At Home.
THE DIRECTOR'S CUT... At Home is a new home goods store located in the old Tops building on Jefferson Rd right behind Dairy Queen. The store is easily seen from either Jefferson Rd or 390 south. It opened about three months ago at the writing of this review. They carry a very wide variety of home goods including knick knacks, silk flower arrangements, end tables, chairs, candles, dinnerware, kitchen items and a ton more.
The nice thing is that their inventory is changes quite often. They always carry a large variety of seasonal items and they change with each season. Artificial Christmas trees, patio furniture, fountains, halloween decor, etc. The store is setup with each section having its own purpose. Things aren't staggered all over the place so they are easy to find. The aisle are wide so you are not dodging other shoppers to get around.
The store is well maintained and the staff is always tidying the shelves. If you need assistance a staff member is usually within an aisle or two. They are not intrusive at all where they are always being on you when they see you. They will acknowledge you with a hello or welcome when you pass by them.
The bathrooms are neat and clean. When we were there the bathroom was spotless.
They have plenty of checkout lanes so you aren't stuck waiting for a long time waiting to check out. If they notice a lane getting busy they will call up another cashier to open another lane.
I really love this store. To my husbands dismay I could spend hours in At Home. If I had the money I could spend a lot of it there. There are so many project ideas I have gotten from just walking around the store. To me it is a very inspirational store.
If you need some good inspiration for a decor change head over to At Home and see what you can find. With the huge variety of home goods I am willing to bet you can find what you are looking for at a price that won't blow your budget. Even if you just want to go in and dream this is a good place for it as well. If you haven't checked this store out yet don't delay any longer. Stop in and get that perfect thing that will set off your home.

While the store is huge, it is clear that the quality of furniture is very low, and prices are unreasonable for items that are so clearly flawed. First, 90% of the “display” items were very damaged. You can see how the particle board used in many pieces of furniture splits and falls apart. Then, the price tag still says $350 for relatively small shelves, and you still have to both assemble it, and not see if the product you are buying is decent until you’ve done so, because it still comes in a box. That’s a lot of trust to put into a store where the displays don’t even look nice.
Their clearance section is a joke - completely trashed items at 50% off of an already-ridiculous price when they are missing entire doors and parts that make them functional.
At this rate, I’m better off ordering a cheap piece off hayneedle for way less, as it is the same quality and the same process at the end of the day. Really...
Read morePrice-wise - some are acceptable, others hopelessly overpriced for the significant lack of quality. I needed help and got it politely and quickly; that was good. But maybe aside from a fleamarket after a tornado, this is the most disorganized, chaotic store I ever had to go to. Curtain rods for bathrooms. You can find them in the window section, the curtain section, the shower curtain section, the bathroom section, and somewhere in between, too. Waterproof mattress pads are with the bedding, the pillows, the linens, the comforters, the decoration pillows, the bedroom aisles, on every shelf, on both sides, behind everything, on top, and below, too.
And those are only two examples of thousands. Don't ever go there expecting to quickly 'pick up something'. Forget that! It will cost you about 25 minutes to even get close to where you suspect your target object could...
