I’ve been a Pit Boss Pellet smoker customer for over 10 years now. I’ve smoke everything from Ribs, Brisket, Pork and chicken however I felt like I wanted to up my smoke game. I stumbled on Roc BBQ in Henrietta last summer and met George. His knowledge and experience had me coming back for more. No more box stores pellets and the rub/ sauce verity is off the charts. Not to mention his store is so organized- finding what you need on your own is simple BUT once you get to talk to George it’s a whole another level. I was afraid of Charcoal as I have a Weber kettle and could never perfect the temps and vents. George sold me his SNS Kamado Charcoal grill and I couldn’t be happier. If you love to cook and want to try different things out I highly recommend ROC BBQ. If you get a chance to talk to George ( I have every time) you get the opportunity to discuss what you’re trying to accomplish and he helps with suggestions along the way. Went in to pick up a roast (locally sourced Picanha/Sirloin Cap awesome cut juicy & tasty) to smoke with a gift card. The owner was busy selling a grill (pretty nice one too). I picked the the roast and wanted to ask about rubs. Knowing he was busy (with a much bigger sale) I expected to wait a bit. Nope he juggled like a pro was able to offer several recommendations for rubs. I went with "the Maserati of rubs" made right here in Webster NY! He also stated all yellow tagged items were made in western NY!! Never had a bad visit and the owner (darn my brain for not remembering) is always friendly, knowledgeable and ready to to help with an obvious passion for his products. I will continue to go to RocBBQ for all my needs. Sometimes just to step in and smell the pellets☺️. Ended up soaking the roast in Rye Whisky for 24 hours dried - rubbed - set pellet grill to smoke and ate a fantastic meal with family. Wish I had taken a pic when I took it off grill. Thank you and look forward to some smoked chicken wings and steaks in the future...

But the best part is they have a large selection of locally sourced products. The owner always offers great advise and is knowledgable of the products he sells. You tell him what you are cooking and he can make suggestions to knock it out of this world!

I was in the hunt for a new pellet smoker. I wanted something small and portable. I travel to some friendly rib smoke offs so I didn't want to haul my big bulky smoker. The owner showed me on of the brands he sells and not only did I fall in love with it, but my wife did too! Especially when the owner showed us the pizza cooker attachment.
